We Have New Darksiders III Concept Art & How The Game Has Evolved
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of May 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Darksiders More updates on Darksiders III have been revealed alongside some new, amazing looking Darksiders III concept art to flesh out the world We had some interesting updates for Darksiders III earlier in the week and here we go again with even more. Not only more but a whole lot of new looks at the game and just how Gunfire Games has taken the original franchise from THQ Nordic and altered it and evolved it into something fitting for the current generation of gamers but to keep up with the changing times. That and we have a look at more concept art for Darksiders III to give us a clue into what we could expect when the game does launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully sometime this year, but that date still needs to be worked out before we can confirm anything. Read More...

Darksiders III's Gameplay Gets A Bit More Of An Explanation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of May 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Darksiders Recently we had some gameplay for Darksiders III to look at and now we have some context for what it all means for Darksiders III and moving forward A little while back we had the announcement for Darksiders III and that was followed up pretty quickly with some of the first gameplay footage for the game to show it all off more than a cinematic trailer. While it was good to see where Gunfire Games was at with the game, it was not given much context and left a lot of things out there that, in my opinion, seemed to harm the franchise. The colors, art, and the combat for Darksiders III seemed to deviate from what we all know already and showed a bit of what THQ Nordic was paying for here. Read More...

Darksiders III Shows How Fury Can Get Rid Of Sloth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Darksiders New gameplay for Darksiders III has just been shown off and it gives us a look at how Darksiders III has progressed from the past titles Earlier in the week we saw that Darksiders III was going to be a thing like many of us had hoped. Usually when it comes to game reveals that is where everything is left and then we have to wait a bit to actually see any real gameplay. At least when we all get a reveal like we did for Darksiders III that only held a cinematic trailer and nothing else. It looks like Gunfire Games is going to skip that usual procession as now we have some gameplay to gaze upon as we wait for the THQ Nordic to give us the full release sometime next year. Read More...

ELEX Is Bringing Us Some Berserker Rage On Magalan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
ELEX The Berserker faction for ELEX has been shown off here and now we get to see just how they will be using Elex in the massive ware between factions Not long ago we had our first taste of ELEX's prologue and were able to see this interesting world that Piranha Bytes was setting up for us in a mixed fantasy and Sci-Fi universe where everyone is out to claim precious resources. The main resource being that of the title that each faction can use to their own needs and turn the battle in their favor. Maybe you caught wind of ELEX or maybe you didn't. Read More...

It Is Time To Release Your Fury As Darksiders III Is Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of May 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Darksiders Darksiders III has been officially announced after many Darksiders III leaks popped up in preparation for the full reveal of the game All of those hopes and prayers have been answered as Darksiders III has just been announced by THQ Nordic and is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. Yes, this is not a drill or more wishful thinking based on the remasters we saw recently from Gunfire Games and such. I am sure that both remasters of the other Darksiders titles help push this along, but now we have it and now we have to wait. Read More...

Review â Darksiders Warmastered Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders We sit down and review Darksiders Warmastered Edition. The original game has been remastered for a new generation and platforms. Here's our review of Darksiders Warmastered Edition Last year we were able to see Darksiders 2 get the remaster that it deserved and now here we are with Darksiders Warmastered Edition to remaster the title that started it all. Not only that but THQ Nordic is the one bringing it back to us after KAIKO did all the remastering work. Not a bad combination and it also allows us and new gamers to experience Darksiders on a few more platforms that it had never been on to date. Read More...

Darksiders Warmastered Edition Ride On With Even Better Visuals In The Mix
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of November 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders A new trailer for Darksiders Warmastered Edition has been released and it shows us how much improvement has come to this Darksiders title for next week You may have remembered that Darksiders Warmastered Edition was announced a while back and it was slated to bring the amazing title to the PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC again. It was also supposed to be released back in October but there was a delay to it all that really caught no wind. This is probably to the liking of THQ Nordic as it did keep them from having to explain off the delay of the game. Read More...

THQ Is Back In Action Thanks To Nordic Games & Rebranding
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
THQ In an interesting turn of events THQ is sort of back as Nordic Games has rebranded itself to THQ Nordic and has a load of games in development Talk about a way to end this week on as it looks like THQ is coming back after shutting down back in 2013. Not the direct company and employees that were let go but it looks like Nordic Games has chosen to rebrand themselves now they own the rights to a whole lot of successful IPs and names they picked up back then. Their new name is now THQ Nordic and they are coming out swinging with some amazing news. Some of that news being that they have at least 13 titles in the works already that we have yet to hear about and many others that we should all know very well by now. Read More...

New Metro: Last Light Trailer
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 11th of December 2012 - 05:28 PM ]
The guys over at THQ and 4A Games have released a new game play trailer for Metro: Last Light. The trailer has the main character, Artyom, reciting a passage from the Christian bible. I believe the passage is Genesis 1:1 to Genesis 2:3. The passage explains how God created the earth in six days and then rested on the seventh. But enough about religious mythology. Let's talk about how amazing this game looks. Read More...

Review: WWE 13
by Greg Tatterfield [ Monday, 12th of November 2012 - 06:24 PM ]
The long running wrestling series from THQ is back again with WWE 13. The game features some an updated roster with and a bunch of improvements. Let's start off with the negative points. Hated: There is not much I hated about WWE 13. There were only a few issues that I had with the game. Let's start off with the new single player mode Attitude Mode. Attitude mode lets you relive the best know period in WWE history from 1995 to 2000. The main issue that I had with this mode was the fact that it was so repetitive. Read More...

The "Full Package" includes the full game, all three DLC mission packs, and over thirty DLC bonus items. I always regret not being able to buy Saints Row: The Third, but I did manage to play it. by Greg Tatterfield [ Tuesday, 25th of September 2012 - 03:01 PM ]
WWE 13 releases next month and THQ has revealed that a fan favorite match type is returning. The brutal "I Quit" match which is a submission match in which you beat down your opponent until he utters the words "I Quit" into a microphone. This mode has not been in a WWE game since the PS2 days, WWE Shut Your mouth to be exact. In WWE 13 in order to win you must approach you grounded opponent and activate the "I Quit" mini game in which the ref holds a microphone near the wrestler’s face. "I Quit" isn’t the only feature returning, King Of The Ring will also be featured. Read More...

Review: Darksiders II
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of August 2012 - 01:02 PM ]
It has finally come. A game that I and others here have been waiting for since we finished Darksiders and were left with a bit of a cliff hanging ending. Darksiders II is here and featuring a new horseman of the apocalypse as well as, from what has been said, a whole load of game features that were left on the cutting room floor in the first title. I got a chance to play it, so let me break it down so you can get a feel before you buy. The Story The story picks up obviously after the end of Darksiders. Read More...

You Better Beat Darksiders Before Darksiders II Launches
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of August 2012 - 05:13 PM ]
So the good news just keeps rolling in for Darksiders II. This time it revolves around those who have been fans since the first game. That is if you've played the first game then you will have access to two items from about the beginning of the new game. So that should be pretty much everyone who is picking up Darksiders II. I mean why would you play the sequel without playing the original? Anyways, these items are linked to your Achievements or Trophies for Darksiders so don't worry if you don't have that save file still either. Read More...
