Quantum Error Launches The Cosmic Horror Into Our World Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of October 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Quantum Error The launch trailer for Quantum Error is here to get us all ready for Quantum Error’s launch on the PlayStation at the end of the week It is the week for those looking to get into Quantum Error on the PS4 and PS5. This is the launch week and after having so many other horror video games out there for Halloween, we get one more just after the holiday passes. I have a feeling that TeamKill Media planned to miss the day by a few to make sure the game stood out, but this does feel like something that should have landed on the day. All of that aside, the launch of Quantum Error is still November 3rd and this all builds into the launch trailer we have to share to get us ready for those cosmic horrors that are about to land on us. Amongst many other video games that we had released or get big updates this week too. Most of which being on the heels of the last big virtual convention over last weekend. Read More...

Get Ready For More Night Terrors On Your Mobile Device Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Night Terrors Another new trailer for Night Terrors has been released but sadly no solid update on how Night Terrors' development is going so far It's been a bit of time since we had a solid update on Night Terrors for our Android and iOS devices that will hopefully be coming soon. For those who don't happen to know or remember what this is supposed to be, it is a new Augmented Reality title coming from Novum Analytics that turns your real world home into a nightmare filled haunted house. We' spoken on Night Terrors a few times in the past as it went into its Indigogo campaign to try and get the funds to make sure the team could get all of their tech to work and all of us shitting our pants. History lesson over for now… Like I said though, it's been a bit of time since we saw a solid update on the goings on of Night Terrors and now we have yet another trailer to look at and get an idea of how far the team has progressed. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Time for more witting, or not-so-witting, banter to wrap up another week of news for video games here. We had a cancellation, a delay, and more sad news in general but at least we were able to see Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Batman: Arkham Knight received a bit more. Not only that but we have more rumors showing us that Watch Dogs 2 could be along the way here soon and then we had a look at a great looking horror title in Night Terrors. Most would say that is a big old game of "nope" but I say bring it on. Read More...

Night Terrors Could Become Your Reality… In Your Own Home
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new Augmented Reality Game, Night Terrors, is trying to raise funds to try and bring real but fake terror into our homes Earlier this week we had the devastation that Silent Hills was canceled so let's get back on a horror highlight with Night Terrors. This would be an augmented reality game that is looking to hit the levels of terror that the prior title mentioned was claiming as well. The big kicker here is that Night Terrors won't be using virtual world interactions to bring the terror. Instead it is slated to get you up and moving about your own home where the ghosts and demons are actually lurking. Read More...

Media Molecule Embraces Their Mistake And Teases New PS4 IP
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Media Molecule shows off a bit of their latest IP in the form of a rendering error It's not every day that anyone embraces their mistakes as Media Molecule just has. Usually things like this get thrown aside or swept under the rug; especially something as little as a rendering error. Not here though as it looks like Media Molecule is using an error like this to kind of tease their next IP coming to the PS4. Get ready to see the horror and tedious side of game development and try to figure out what Media Molecule is going to bring us. A rendering error on our new PS4 project caused this trippy sequence of colourful nonsense that begged to be shared. Read More...

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Disc Issues.
by Alyssa Porter [ Tuesday, 11th of March 2008 - 08:04 AM ]
As we all know, Super Smash Bros. Brawl recently released in North America and hundreds to thousands of Smash Bros fans waited eagerly outside of their local GameStop’s to get themselves their copy. When they got home and threw their SSBB disc in their Nintendo Wii Consoles “a small percentage” of the fan base was let down by a “disc-read error”.According to Nintendo, who just sold 1 million copies in Japan, this is due to the high-capacity double-layer disc that is used for Super Smash Bros Brawl. On Nintendo’s official North American site they explained "A very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is some contamination on the lens of the disc drive.
