Agony Has A New Release Date For Us To Get Ready For
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Agony The final release date for Agony has been set down so we can all look forward to Agony on the PC and Consoles soon A month ago, we were all updated that Agony was going to be delayed. We were not given a solid reason then, but it was what it was at the time. Then earlier this week we caught wind that the game was going to be censored by Madmind Studio to make it an M-rated game and not an AO-rated title. At least for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game as PC owners can choose to remove said censorship. Now, and thankfully, we have an official release date for Agony to look at now as it is going to be landing across all platforms on May 29th now. Read More...

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr Has Been Delayed
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 19th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Warhammer Delays have hit Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr to make sure that the title is able to bring all of the Warhammer fun to all platforms at the same time May 11th will no longer be a day that you can expect to see Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr hit the PS4, Xbox One, or PC as the game has now been delayed. Sadly it looks like the team over at Neocore Games ran into an issue with getting all versions of the game up to snuff, with the consoles falling behind, and now we have to wait until June 5th for the game. Just a bit longer than proposed, but we will at least still be getting this Diablo-like title set in the Warhammer 40K universe still. Read More...

Spider-Man Has Some New Screenshots & Concept Art To Spy On
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New screenshots and concept art are here for Spider-Man to give us some actions shots as well as a look at some of the villains in Spider-Man We are still all waiting for some more gameplay and descriptions for Spider-Man, but for now we have a few more screenshots and concept art to look at for the game. Yea, not the most exciting thing to talk about, but Insomniac Games does have a few more of the villains of the game to look at. At least it is easy to assume they are the villains as they are general Spider-Man villains from all other forms of the franchise. Read More...

Let Us Marvel At All Of The Tech That Is Bringing Us Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit A new behind-the-scenes video for Detroit: Become Human is here to show a bit more on the technology that was created to bring us Detroit: Become Human If you could not tell by the headline here, this is going to be a behind-the-scenes heavy update for Detroit: Become Human as we are diving further into all of the technology that will be bringing us the game on May 25th and less of what we will actually be getting to experience. It is a tradeoff we have to do every now and then and this time we are looking more at the hard work Quantic Dream has put in here than actual gameplay. You have been informed thusly and can choose to stick around for a bit on Detroit: Become Human, or move right along. Read More...

The Animus Will Soon Be Under Your Control In Assassin’s Creed Origins
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed A new update for Assassin’s Creed Origins on the PC is coming to let you tweak and change gameplay aspects of Assassin’s Creed Origins via the Animus In a world like Assassin’s Creed Origins has set, I am talking the "real world" and not the "fake world" here; it makes sense that some of the games mechanics and aspects should be able to be broken. Not that it is a huge secret but one of the aspects of the franchise that we have to deal with is the fact that we are playing as someone who is plugging into a computer and playing as someone else. This has been the case since Ubisoft brought us the first Assassin’s Creed and shattered minds with what was going on. Read More...

God Of War’s Bestiary Gets Further Detailed Just Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War A few more behind-the-scenes videos for God Of War are here to show off more of the Trolls and Revenants we will face in God Of War The hype train keeps rolling on for God Of War as we are only a few days out from launch (4/20/18) now and we still have more to see for the game. Even after all of the rave reviews, it has received so far, Santa Monica Studio still wants you to see why you should be excited to get into the game. This time around it is another good look at some of the upper-level monsters Kratos and Atreus will be facing off against in God Of War. The trolls are here yet again, but now we have a bit more than we have had on the mystical revenants we have only slightly seen before now. Read More...

A Hostile Takeover Is Coming Just Before The Launch Of Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new prequel novel for the upcoming Spider-Man game has been announced that should give those who read it a bit more insight on where Spider-Man and the world will be starting There is more going on in Spider-Man than many may have thought before as the game takes place well into Peter's career as the web-slinger. This we have heard ad nauseam since we first saw the game was coming from Insomniac Games. It is not an origin story at all, but of course there had to be somewhere that this version of the character started out and led up to the action we will be seeing and experiencing on September 7th. Kratos’ Journey Will Be An Every Evolving On In God Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
God Of War A new developer diary for God Of War is here to further show us just how Kratos’ Journey has come since the closing of God Of War III If for some reason you have yet to catch on that the next God Of War will be changing up things in many ways other than graphics, combat, and mechanics then we have yet another developer diary here to help drive that home. More in the how Kratos has evolved as a character kind of way and no other changes to the franchise that Santa Monica Studio has for us. We all knew he was going to be more "evolved" in this God Of War, but now we get to hear more on how he made it to the place he is in now since last we saw him in the third full title. Read More...

Agony Will Be Getting Some Censorship For The Console Versions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Agony It looks like console players of Agony will be seeing things in a few different ways, as Agony has had to be censored to be able to come to the platforms While it may not be the reason given for the delay of Agony, it looks like we may have found the true reason we are all waiting a bit longer for this title to launch and it is sadly censorship. At least that is what I am presuming here and not directly what Madmind Studio has said but it makes sense now. As it turns out, they have had to go through a few changes with Agony to get it to a place where it can release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Read More...

Kingdom Hearts III Is Bringing Some Game & Watch Mini-Games With It
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts A few new mini-games for Kingdom Hearts III have been shown off at a the recent Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] Dandelion Meeting While it may not be the biggest news for Kingdom Hearts III, it looks like we have a look at some of the new mini-games that will be making the hop into the game here when it releases sometime this year on the PS4 and Xbox One. It is a small thing, indeed, but seeing Square Enix just kind of dropped this update as a surprise, we will take it. That all said, it looks like Kingdom Hearts III will be home to a few Game & Watch-style mini-games that Sora and crew can enjoy on their mobile devices in-game. Read More...

At least for a limited time, but we will ignore that for now as DICE is bringing us all the Ewoks to the game and with them a new mode called Ewok Hunt. All of which will be hitting Star Wars Battlefront II on April 18th for the low price of free. Well at least if you already own the core game on the PC, PS4, or Xbox One before or during the time this limited event runs. Read More...

It Is Time To Go Behind The Music Of Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit New information on the music for Detroit: Become Human is here and we get to hear how three different composers are setting the mood in Detroit: Become Human When it comes to having three different characters in Detroit: Become Human, the team over at Quantic Dream wanted them each to feel a bit different from each other to help emphasize the story and world. That is the base assumption from the start. Given that they are taking the story and storytelling method for Detroit: Become Human down the same path as that of feature films or television, they would need a way to help focus on differences between them all subtlety. Spider-Man’s Combat Works A Bit Different Than Many Of Us Have Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man is here and it shows us a little more on how the combat system in Spider-Man will play out and work It is time to blow some of those preconceived notions on how the combat in Spider-Man is actually going to play out and handle. Way back when the game was first announced and shown off, it looks like a very tried and true method to combat was something that Insomniac Games was going to use. More or less, it looks a lot like the way it all worked in the Arkham titles, which all were really solid gameplay mechanics. While it may have looked that way, we are here to tell you that it is not going to be that way exactly for Spider-Man as he is obviously a different kind of fighter and uses many other things to his benefit in a fight.
