A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag for this year and so many interesting things happening the world of video games and gaming. We even had a chance to start this week off with an interesting look at a new eSports game, Sol Raiders, all set up in a VR setting. Not to mention all of the great updates to World War Z and Metro Exodus. We also cannot forget the character announcements and reveals for Mortal Kombat 11 as we wait for that one and many more video games to drop on us out there. Read More...

A new trailer for Chernobylite is here to give us another creepy look at how Chernobylite will tackle the Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe Last year, you may remember, we had word of a new horror game called Chernobylite with little else to go on. Okay, that may be a bit off as we knew it was a horror game coming from The Farm 51 and would also be covering a new look at the Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe from real-world history. That was something that shook people to their cores and caused a lot of stir with other forms of media. Now it looks like we are going back and finally have something to see for Chernobylite as we have another official announcement for the game along with video. Read More...

A new bit of story is here for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice with little else to help guide us along the path Sekiro is going to take Not much has been given up in terms of story for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice thus far and most have been focusing on how hard the gameplay will most likely be in the game. This is another title from FromSoftware so that is something to expect, but there needs to be some kind of story or reason we are going about killing everything and trying to survive. Other than that is what we just have to do in Sekiro. Read More...

New modes for World War Z are here to mix in some extra multiplayer to World War Z and make it almost a true free-for-all with zombies There has never been any doubt that World War Z was not going to be a single-player only style game. It can be played that way, sure, but it has always been focused on as a Co-Op experience for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC from Saber Interactive. It is always safer to go out there with a team in any form of a zombie apocalypse. More so when you dig into the lore and story of World War Z in general. Read More...

During a recent event, I was able to take on Sol Raiders in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Sol Raiders. When one thinks of eSports you generally navigate to the thought of a bunch of people sitting around gaming systems and using their skills with a mouse and keyboard to win the day. This could all be changing as we insert Sol Raiders via Zero Latency VR to the mix. This would be a new experience for the locations around the world that not only let gamers have fun in a warehouse-scale VR environment but also allows teams to go head to head as we would expect in a sports arena. The final video for A Plague Tale: Innocence's behind the scenes is here and it dives deeper into the enemies and challenges A Plague Tale will offer The webseries for A Plague Tale: Innocence has come to an end as we now have the final episode to take in. These would be the behind the scenes videos that Asobo Studio has placed out there for all of us to get a better idea of how they built this game. Also to keep A Plague Tale on our minds while we wait for May 14th to roll up and offer the game up on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We need something as the attention spans of gamers do not seem to last long at all. Read More...

The release date for Assassin’s Creed III Remastered is now set for Assassin’s Creed fans to further their collection and story in high definition It was slated for March and now we are going to be seeing Assassin’s Creed III Remastered hit us on time here. I will say that Ubisoft did seem to push it out as far as possible, but at least we are now seeing this remaster coming at us during the original timeline placed out there. If you needed more of an Assassin’s Creed fix, then get ready for this remaster to hit you on March 29th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. As I said, they went right up to the wire to get that one out there and still make their slated March release back when it was announced to be part of the Season Pass content for Odyssey. A new look at Metro Exodus is here to give us a feel for what is going on in Artyom’s head as well as a look at the shotguns of Metro Exodus In slightly over a week from now we will be thumbs deep in Metro Exodus and I for one am excited for that. I have enjoyed what we have had from 4A Games so far for the game and to see just how shifting into an open-world structure will help the narrative and gameplay in general. Given that Metro has always been a story heavy experience, this could be a difficult challenge as gamers do not always follow the core path to get the story as written. Especially when it looks like it will be taking its toll on Artyom here based on the latest video we have for the game. Read More...

Two more characters have been confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11 with one of them having a full showcase of their new look in Mortal Kombat 11 We finally had the first Kombat Kast after the massive Mortal Kombat 11 reveal of last month and just as promised we had a new character revealed and shown off quite a bit. If you saw the larger reveal event, you may have had a hint as to who was going to be revealed here as NetherRealm Studios has not been coy about it. That character being Kabal who has not been fully seen in a Mortal Kombat title since MK9. Read More...

New gameplay for Intruders: Hide And Seek is here to show off how the game is going to look as you hide from the Intruders in VR We have not had much in the way of gameplay for Intruders: Hide And Seek before now. Something that feels a bit off as we are on the cusp of release for the game. It is still hitting the PS4 and PC on February 13th and there is still a lot shrouded from Tessera Studios on the game. This could be a good thing to leave some of the surprises out there for Intruders: Hide And Seek, but it does not do much in terms of getting more people interested in this VR title. Read More...

The next world video series for Days Gone is here to show us that there are more than just basic zombies in Days Gone The world of Days Gone is expanding yet again for us. Not in terms of size or extra DLC that has been announced, but in the way of more knowledge of what is going on out there in the wastes of the world. This time it is all about the different Freakers that Bend Studio is filling in for us. Some of which we have seen a whole lot of as they are the general shamblers we have seen in all of the other videos leading up to now. Read More...

A new clip for World War Z is here to give us more on the hordes of zombies we will be facing down when World War Z finally launches We have a new video for World War Z to take in from Saber Interactive and it is all about the hordes we will face in the game. It makes sense given that this is a zombie game and the story pretty much surrounds all of this in general. No matter if you look at the book or film for World War Z, hordes of infected are everywhere so it makes sense we would see more highlights for them. Even if we have no solid release date on when to expect to play this game this year. Read More...
