The Cast Is Coming To Tell Us All More For The Chant

The Chant

A new behind the scenes for The Chant is here to show off how the cast is bringing The Chant to life

The Chant is continuing forward with all of the hype trains to get us ready for this twisted story and thriller it is being set up to be. We still do not have a date for when Brass Token and Prime Matter will be bringing it to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but that does not mean we do not have more to keep it all going. Even if it is a little bit more with a bigger announcement for The Chant dropping next week. Here we have a bit of a tease for the next behind-the-scenes from the cast of voices that will be bringing it all to life. Even if that is not your normal jam for these kinds of things, we do get a little more to go on for the story and world it is building.

What we have here is more of a tease for The Chant instead of a true deep dive in, since the bigger behind-the-scenes will be out on the 16th of August instead. In the tease, though, we get to see how the cast has come together to film everything as we normally see in video games out there. The more interesting thing we get teased here is more of the supernatural elements mixed in. Some of them are more on the side of fantastical with members of The Chant able to fly and do other massive attacks in the world. Now it looks like things will be more than a thriller and more of a horror when all is said and done. Have a look at the short tease we have now and then get excited to see more of what is to come while we wait for the full title to drop out there.

The Chant — Meet The Cast

Watch the finest short film that will enlighten you on the depth and psychology of The Chant’s colorful cast of twisted characters.

Find out what brought each of them to the Prismic Spiritual Retreat on remote Glory Island. Learn how their minds work, understand the deep darkness within each of them and follow their terrifying journey.

For the first time, the performers reveal what it was like to bring their characters to life in the upcoming horror action-adventure game, The Chant.

Our lead character, Jessica Briar, played by Siobhan Williams, is asked by her friend Kim Mallari (played by Kira Clavell) to come to this remote Glory Island on a spiritual retreat. Jess is happy to take a few days away from the city and her stressful life and career. Why not?

Considering herself as someone who is willing to try new things, she is also ready to deal with some much-needed closure from a traumatic event shared with Kim during their teenage years. What she does not know is that she will be forced into a new way of thinking in order to survive the horrors at hand.

Kim’s been looking forward to the retreat ever since she first heard Tyler Anton (actor Adam Millard) talk about it at one of his seminars. Since becoming a student of Tyler, she has felt more alive than ever. She is very grateful that Tyler allowed and even encouraged her to invite Jess to join, but is Tyler the healing, powerful and spiritual leader he claims to be?

He inherited the island from his troubled mother and now he’s ready to welcome a small group of followers for a transformational journey into Prismic Science. It’s time to leave his mark on the world and maybe even the cosmos.

Hannah Wilson, played by Emily Tennant, feels nothing but excitement at the thought of welcoming the retreat attendees. She has spent the past several months as Tyler’s right hand; never before has she experienced such a sense of belonging.

Maya Kalani (voiced by Nicole Anthony) is on the island because she believes this retreat is her first step toward confronting her scars from her past to find true healing. In her wandering, she met Tyler, whose keen eye saw her pain and enrolled her in the retreat with ease. She embodies a special spirit and energy.

Since connecting with Tyler, Sonny Sonti (Praneet Akilla) has decided to channel his energy (and some family wealth) towards his vision to help promote Prismic Science and create a movement. This is his chance to find greater meaning and leave behind a pattern of broken promises and self-destruction.

Multiple characters, multiple reasons to be there. One interconnected journey that will avow the strengths and weaknesses of each of the spiritual retreat attendees on Glory Island.

The Chant - developed by Brass Token and published by Prime Matter will ship on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC later this year.

Is this the kind of content you have been looking for when it comes to The Chant or do you even care about the behind-the-scenes? Do you think there will be much more to the story and how the cast has done this, or will it boil down to the same thing? Did you expect there to be this amount of supernatural in the game too or is that a bit of a shock with all of this? Tell us all of your thoughts on this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish. More for The Chant is on the way, so be sure to keep checking in for all of that. I have a feeling this one is going to be vastly different than what we thoughts at the beginning.
