The Callisto Is Offering Us A Murder Mystery Out In Virtual Space

Callisto

Have a new look at The Callisto and get ready to try to solve the murder mystery out in space on The Callisto

Murder does seem to happen everywhere out there, and The Callisto is going to take us on a fun romp of all of that through space. All of which in a VR setting for the PC and not that GIB Games is working on killing someone off in space. That is just the premise of the title we are getting here and we can see just a bit more for The Callisto in the latest video out there. In addition, it is worth noting that it is not of the Protocol type of thing with this game, it just shares many of the same names and none of the dark horror coming out from the other title. Well, beyond the murder mystery of it all…

This video does give us a nice little look and stroll around the luxury hotel on Jupiter's second-largest moon in The Callisto, but it does have a few little worrisome aspects to it here. Mostly the way that the dialog is presented and read off the pages for us. It seems so clunky and choppy to truly be able to be enjoyed here. At least by me. Sure, The Callisto still has some time before it launches and the team is relatively small, but it feels like the story and narration are going to be the bigger part of this. It just feels like the voice actors are, pardon the pun, phoning it in. I hope this will all change so we can have a deeper immersion in the game to help us better solve the mystery involved.

The Callisto — Trailer #2

At a luxury hotel on Jupiter’s second-largest moon, a political figure was murdered along with three others.

With the crime scene empties, you—a member of an interstellar police force—are the investigator of these deaths. Collect evidence, interview witnesses, analyze clues, and solve puzzles to uncover the secrets behind the events leading up to this crime. Discover The Callisto’s seedy history, explore the staff and guests' backroom connections, and learn about the underground financiers of this remote paradise on the cold surface of a moon.

The Callisto combines the puzzles of an escape room with an interactive storyline and deep lore, and a dynamic puzzle system to make each playthrough unique. Incredible visuals push the boundaries of VR and immerse you in a dystopian sci-fi future.
