Someday You’ll Return
The release date for Someday You’ll Return is now set for the PC version of Someday You’ll Return and it is in April of this year
Get ready for some great psychological horror, as Someday You’ll Return has been given a release date for the PC version of the game. We will be able to play all of these fears on April 14th through the various outlets we have come to expect. Do not think that CBE Software is leaving the PS4 and Xbox One gamers out, though. There is no date for Someday You’ll Return over on those platforms but it will be there before the end of the year. Fingers crossed that there are not any delays on those as it is always a pain to have to wait in these staggered release cycles. Not impossible, but trying if one wants to keep all the spoilers out of sight and mind.
To go along with this release announcement, we have a new trailer for Someday You’ll Return to watch and see a bit more of the game's world, atmosphere, and item management. That last one seems a bit off to name, but it is part of the gameplay and we will have to harvest batteries and other items in the world for use. Based on the trailer here, at least. So do not expect there to be a bunch of random batteries laying around in Someday You’ll Return. I know that is an odd thing to focus on here, but it is how we all roll sometimes. Have a look and see what else is going on in the game and then get ready for a short wait.
Someday You’ll Return — Release Date Reveal
Today, CBE Software is pleased to announce that Someday You’ll Return, their narrative-driven game of psychological horror, will launch on April 14, 2020 for Windows PC. Xbox and PlayStation versions are scheduled for development later this year.
To celebrate the announcement of their PC release date, the team at CBE Software is releasing a chilling new trailer showing off gameplay as well as hints of the horrors you’ll encounter as you search for your missing daughter in Someday You’ll Return.
Someday You’ll Return is a narrative-driven psychological horror game with intimate concepts of fatherhood, fears, lies, and refusal to accept one’s past. You play Daniel, father of Stela, your runaway daughter. While trying to find her, you're forced by events to return to a place that you swore never return to, the ancient Moravian forests.
While the story contains strong horror elements it’s not always the most obvious monsters that are the most frightening. While your survival skills and quick wits may advance your search, malevolent forces rise up against you keeping you and Stela apart. As your search leads deep into both the woods and your mind, it reveals secrets that should have stayed buried. Where are you, Stela?
Are you fully ready for Someday You’ll Return to hit us or is the date a hard one with some of the other titles launching out there? DO you like that we may have to actually search for items in the game's world or will that be too much of a distraction from the psychological aspects of the game? Does any of this matter and you will just have fun with the game and nothing more? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. For more on Someday You’ll Return, be sure to keep checking in here. We will have it all for you and much more.
