Shadow Of War
Two new trailers for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War are here fresh from SDCC and give us a feel for two more of Shadow Of War's characters
This year's SDCC may be over, but that doesn't stop all of the videos and updates we had out there from flowing out and here we go with two more for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Yes, two more and two more characters that will be coming to life from Monolith Productions here to make the game's story richer and in some cases a little more lighthearted. That seems like a weird thing to write here given the heaviness of Shadow Of War, but it looks like we are not just getting some dark and depressing tale here on October 10th. You'll see what I mean when we get to it. But for now, here we go with the new characters that will be shaping the game in a few new ways and maybe for the ultimate end.
First up we have a look at Shelob for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Fans of the whole universe will know here name of course but for those who don't, she is the giant spider that the fellowship needs to bypass just before getting into Mordor. Get ready for all the creepy-crawlies when you run into her and see if she is truly out to help you or just spinning a giant web to leverage things to her whims. You know, just as would be expected for this kind of character. On top of that, it will be harder to tell as in Shadow Of War Shelob has a bit more personality and is trying to be an ally even though the following trailer kind of points in a few other ways. Have a look.
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War — Shelob Reveal Trailer
Shelob - you know her name, but what of her intentions? Can you trust the Spider? Play Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, available beginning October 10, 2017.
Now that the creepy-crawlies are out there for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, let's dig into the more levity that will be coming to the game in terms of The Agonizer. Not the most pleasant of names, but this would be the Orc that Kumail Nanjiani is voicing and it looks like the name goes more toward the self-agony over saying the right thing or looking menacing. In fact, this seems more of a joke and if I didn't know better I'd think it was an April Fools joke, but this is the place we are here. Although I think Shadow Of War may need some of this and just seeing how unsure he is in the following trailer, I think it will work. Or get annoying rather quickly. We'll have to wait and see how much of it we have to deal with in the game before we can make that judgement.
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War — Kumail Nanjiani As The Agonizer
Kumail Nanjiani portrays fear in the form of The Agonizer. Take a peek into how this unique orc was brought to life in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, coming October 10, 2017.
Where do you sit for these two new characters for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War that we have here? Do you think that Monolith Productions will just be using Shelob for the name or will there be something darker along the way that we should all have seen coming? Do you think that The Agonizer will be a great bit of fun added into the game or will he become annoying after a while given all of the waffling we see here on the "badass" lines he tries to deliver? Let us and the whole world know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. As we learn more for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and the characters though, we will have it all here for you. Be sure to keep all of your attentions here on the site so you know you are able to see it all.
