The famed killer, Jack The Ripper, will be stalking the streets of London in Assassin's Creed Syndicate just as many have already stated they could see happening in the game

It should come as no big surprise that Jack the Ripper is now heading to Assassin's Creed Syndicate via DLC. This was something I speculated on way back when Ubisoft first announced Assassin's Creed Syndicate and the Victorian London setting but now we have a full confirmation that Jack will be stalking the London streets on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC via the Season Pass DLC that Assassin's Creed Syndicate already has lined up. Can you really have a game, film, or story set in that era without including Jack the Ripper in it? I don't think so…

Details on the Jack the Ripper DLC for Assassin's Creed Syndicate as very sparse at this time as it has only been announced to be in the works during the Tokyo Games Show. If we will be hunting said killer or if we will be the killer in Assassin's Creed Syndicate is still up in the air. I personally see the icon being built up by the Templar to get the public stirred about the Assassin's but given the Assassin's Creed use of prostitutes as cover it could just be a rogue Templar trying to make it easier to spot the assassin's in the world of Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

It is worth noting though that the Jack the Ripper DLC is set to take place in 1888 which would be two decades after the events of Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Could this point to another time travel type experience or maybe Ubisoft has things set up for the core story of Assassin's Creed Syndicate to lead up to said time frame. I guess we'll have to wait and see when the DLC finally lands in our homes and we can see their take on the famed serial killer of Victorian London.
