Last year we had the announcement that DmC Devil May Cry was coming to the PS4 and Xbox One via a Definitive Edition. DmC was a great game so why not get it out there for more to enjoy or enjoy again? We also got a small glimpse at what the game may look like running at 60fps and 1080p resolution. It was somewhere in the mix of everything that Ninja Theory was showing us for the new edition of the game I swear. You can go back and watch it or you can look just a little bit below to see some more of DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition's upgraded gameplay in action.
I have more to say on all of this DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition footage but you need to be able to watch the gameplay here to fully grasp what I am going to be talking about. So please watch and then join me for my own little breakdown over it all. Good breakdown not freak out breakdown before you think I am going to slam Ninja Theory here.
DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition — 60 FPS Gameplay
I am hoping that it is just the quality of how YouTube is showing off all of this DmC Devil May Cry footage here as it looks like it is all being run off the last gen versions of the game and poorly recorded here. This does not look like a Definitive Edition based on what I just saw here. I know that the original version of DmC looked and played amazing but this bit of promotion kind of really undersells the whole "upgrade" thing. In fact this footage would make me question why I would be re-purchasing the title for the PS4 or Xbox One if this is all I had to go by. This was not the best foot forward.
Lucky for me and you I have seen what the DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition has to offer and it is what we should be expecting and not this level of video. Like I said, unless the wool has been pulled over my eyes with the raw footage for this edition this does nothing but remind us that the DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition is coming out on March 10th and that we should all be prepared.
