Well now we have details on that very title. The title 'Enslaved' is loosley based on the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. Players take on the role of Monkey and Trip and travel through post-apocalyptic America. Players will use Monkey's staff as a weapon, and if it's anything like the fighting from Heavenly Sword, we should see some epic fight scenes. Trip is an AI controlled character, and players will spend most of the time defending her. Trip is more of the technological type of gal. According to the storyline she will hack into Monkey's headband so they are linked together throughout the adventure.

Taking control of both characters makes me reminisce about the old days of Lost Vikings, and the frustration it caused trying to get all three characters to the same goal at the same time. This does create an interesting puzzle/action adventure style mesh, so I will be very interested to see how it pans out.

This is Ninja Theory's first title to be released on PS3 and XBox 360. The story will be co-written by Alex Garland, who worked on "The Beach" and "28 days later". Enslaved is schedule to be released in 2010.
