A sequel to Ōkami has finally been announced and those Ōkami fans only had to wait about twenty years for it all
It looks like we only had to wait about twenty years to finally get a Ōkami sequel in our lives. Well, at least to get the announcement that we are going to finally get a sequel to the game from Capcom out here. So, there is still a whole lot of waiting we are going to have to do before we get the full sequel to Ōkami on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC out there. Maybe a few other platforms too, but we still have to wait to get all of that confirmation out there. For now, we can focus on the fact that this title that so many fell in love with from before will be getting a fully new title out there and not just another HD remaster or a remake of the game. Those do seem to be all the rage from before and not what we have announced here.
Sadly, that is about all we have for the announcement for this Ōkami sequel out there. Other than, the fact that Hideki Kamiya will be on the way back to be the game director for this sequel is all the news we have for it all. That is some great news given that the original Ōkami is in the list of titles that Hideki has worked on from before. At least we can sit pretty knowing that at least one of the original team will be back. Outside of that, we have a beautiful trailer to look at and get a taste of some of the visuals that we can expect to see in this new title. The colors and style look like they will all be back, unless they choose to go down a different path for some weird reason.
