Mortal Kombat
The next DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns, Ghostface, finally has a gameplay update to show what is coming to Mortal Kombat 1
Most of the teasing is over for Ghostface coming to Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns with the character dropping in on November 19th. That is the hope for now as NetherRealm Studios did drop the smallest of videos to be able to hit something for Halloween, and now that we are only days away from the character joining the roster on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC, it is time to get some true gameplay. True gameplay that shows off how the character will flow in Mortal Kombat 1, a bit of the x-ray move, a fatality, and a showing of the Animality Ghostface will have. It might not be exactly what you were expecting, but it works…
While it might seem like it is just a guy with a knife and voice changer, it is a bit more than that for Mortal Kombat 1. In fact, it looks like it will keep with the two people running the show and to explain why Ghostface can "teleport" and get some of these brutal attacks off in the mix. It also looks like some of the "clumsiness" of the character will be used too, as there is a move that allows us to attack while crawling along the ground. A fun little callback to the films, as well as the "Randy Scene" from the films used as the fatality, and some of the more sadistic moves used for the X-ray in Mortal Kombat 1. Then we get the vulture for the Animality, which feels right and wrong at the same time. Colors and idea of the character work, I just would have expected something slightly different. That is just me, though.
