Retrieval Shows Why Some Things Should Just Be Left Alone

Retrieval

Retrieval is revealed and ready to take us into a dark universe where the Retrieval of things should not be the option

All of the horror of the world keeps on building up and here we get to see how Retrieval is going to add into all of that. This is the upcoming title from 333 Studios and during Gamescom, they took to the stage to give us a reveal of some of the horrors we might be facing off with out there when the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That or Retrieval is showing off why we should not be poking our heads out where it does not fully belong. All with a very dark setting and look about the game as we gear up for yet another horror story to give us nightmares. That is the goal of it all at the end of the day…

This trailer for Retrieval is a bit hard to see what is going on and it feels like that might have been part of the plan. Even if it was trying to showcase some of the newer hardware used for lighting in video games, we get to see very little of the body horror that is going on in the game's world that will pull us into a gripping narrative. A narrative that is supposed to pull us into Retrieval as we go through some character growth and uncover more of the secrets out there in Ryhalian. That would be the setting of the game, I believe, as more details are sparse for this still. Nonetheless, we have a look at footage captured from the game just below so you can see just what could be haunting your dreams down the line.

What were you able to spot in this trailer for Retrieval or was it too dark for you to see much too? Will this be a true shining of the lighting systems in our video games or will the dark setting show how sometimes hardware specs are not always what is needed to bring us a solid title? Will the body horror we see here only be the tip of things to come or will we get to see a lot of the same thing played over and over for similar scares? Head on down to the comment section to discuss it all and let us know what you are thinking about this one. We will share more for Retrieval as we get it, so please keep on swinging by the site to see and hear about all of that as it comes. I have a feeling we will hear a lot more before the end of the year.
