Five Nights At Freddy’s
Another Five Nights At Freddy’s is on the way with the leak of Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into The Pit
Here we go with a leak many did not think was going to happen with Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into The Pit. This is a new title in the IP coming from Mega Cat Studios that seems to be taking a little bit of a different approach than others have taken. At least as we can all see from the recently confirmed leak that was out there. A leak that now indicates that this Five Nights At Freddy’s title will be digging into some of the stories from the books that have been flowing out there. Along with that, this one will be taking us into some classic 2D style and gameplay to give us some new jump scares to force into our nightmares. As long as things are adapted perfectly as many fans have been hoping for.
While it has been confirmed that Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into The Pit is actually going to be a thing from the developer, little more is truly known that is not shown in the following trailer. A trailer that takes us back to the era of the SNES-style graphics and gameplay, but uses the better hardware to clean all of that up. All as we take on the story from the book of the same name. A book that will see a child's father pulled into a time portal ball pit, yes you read that and then have the child trying to figure out what is going on and survive the main villain of the Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise. All while wandering about the world, searching for clues, and hiding in the mascot suits so they do not get killed or taken. A nice little throwback title that also feels like it is going to lean more into the horror that the IP was going for in the first place. Once we ignore the thing about the ball pit.

I have never actually read the Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into The Pit story but am aware of it. I feel that is worth noting before anyone goes off about any of this. That is out of the way, I do have to say that I am enjoying the look and feel of this title as it all stands so far. It may not be the next level of graphics, but it feels like it is going to hit the nostalgia perfectly while also giving us a terrifying game in the mix. I mean, look at the way Afton comes at us on the screen here. It feels a lot more terrifying than any of the loud jump scares that the other Five Nights At Freddy’s games have placed out there. A weird thing given that it is all in a 16-bit style, but it works. Now we just have to wait to see when and where the game will launch so we can keep this IP going even longer than many have wanted it to.
Are you surprised to see this game going in the way of the Five Nights At Freddy’s books or do you think this will be the next big wave of titles we get? How do you feel about the visuals and will it be scarier than we think when all is said and done? Is this just the first step in bringing more of the darker stories to light for the IP or is this a one-off to a developer who has shown they can nail this style of game already? Fight it all out in the comment section below and then let the world know what you have on your mind. When we have more to share for Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into The Pit, officially, we will share it all here with you. Please keep on coming back to see and hear about all of that as the story continues to grow as the IP has.
