Spider-Man’s Combat Works A Bit Different Than Many Of Us Have Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man is here and it shows us a little more on how the combat system in Spider-Man will play out and work It is time to blow some of those preconceived notions on how the combat in Spider-Man is actually going to play out and handle. Way back when the game was first announced and shown off, it looks like a very tried and true method to combat was something that Insomniac Games was going to use. More or less, it looks a lot like the way it all worked in the Arkham titles, which all were really solid gameplay mechanics. While it may have looked that way, we are here to tell you that it is not going to be that way exactly for Spider-Man as he is obviously a different kind of fighter and uses many other things to his benefit in a fight. Review — Extinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Extinction We sit down and review Extinction. There are colossal size ogres killing the world and we need to stop them. Here is our review of Extinction With a name like Extinction there is a lot to build up to and deliver on. It definitely floats an idea out there and sets some ideas for any games who may be looking at it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC now that it has released. This would also happen to be the next title that Iron Galaxy is putting out there where we are the last bit of hope between humanity getting to live or getting eaten by colossal creatures. You are hopefully getting an idea of what Extinction is all about, but for those who want more, we sat down and gave it a solid play. Read More...

The Walking Dead: The Final Season Will Be Shaking Up The Usual Formula A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead New gameplay for The Walking Dead: The Final Season was shown off during PAX East and it looks to change some of the gameplay for The Walking Dead that we knew During PAX East there was a nice little panel that went into a bit more for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Not the most hidden of information as Telltale Games made sure we all knew about it and had a chance to watch it from the comfort of our own homes if we were not able to attend the event this year. It was nice of them and definitely caught the eye of many fans of The Walking Dead out there. Unfortunately for those who could not make their way out there in general, you had to miss out on things even if you did catch most of the panel as it was streamed live. Read More...

Get Ready For A Lot Of Intense Web Swinging In Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new interview for the upcoming Spider-Man title is out there and we get some further insight on just how Spider-Man’s web swinging will flow If for some reason you were worried about how the web swinging was going to work in Spider-Man or if it was going to be some weird thing that the team did not focus on, then you can place some of those concerns aside. I do not know who you would be out there as almost everyone has had strong faith in Insomniac Games doing right by the fans with the game; I just know you were out there. Nonetheless, we have a new look at just how this aspect of Spider-Man will work in the game and it definitely impresses as it looks to use more of the real-world physics to do just what we want. City Of Brass Now Has A Release Date To Swing Into
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
City Of Brass The release date for City Of Brass has now been set and we can see more of the fun City Of Brass will be bringing to us this May when it launches It has been a good grip of time since we last heard anything for City Of Brass. This could be partly because Uppercut Games was hard at work on it and did not have the time to divulge more of the game. It could also be partly due to the fact that City Of Brass has been in Early Access on Steam so PC players have had a chance to see how the game is coming along and thus talk about it in general. That would leave some of the PS4 and Xbox One gamers out in the dark though. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more solid week of video games in the bag. I really need to find a better way to wrap this all up each week. Nonetheless, it has been another fun week with pretty much all highs for the week. Pathfinder: Kingmaker Unloads Its Features With A Bit More Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of March 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Pathfinder A new trailer for Pathfinder: Kingmaker is here and it goes over some of the gameplay features as well as the elements it will bring from the base Pathfinder: Kingmaker version Last year we had a chance to watch as the Pathfinder: Kingmaker Kickstarter campaign fired off and then was a huge success almost doubling what the team over at Owlcat Games was looking for to bring it into existence. Being a fan of the tabletop version of the game and the specific adventure path, I was amped to see that it was going to be a thing and in similar veins of Baldur’s Gate with all of the political intrigue I have grown to love. Now we have our first real taste of just how this version of Pathfinder: Kingmaker has progressed and all of the extra features we are going to be getting in the final game with more as time presses on. Here is our review of Q.U.B.E. 2 It is time to head back into the weirdness and puzzles with Q.U.B.E. 2. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Put one more of those weeks of video games in the bag again, as we have come to a close yet again. Just for this week and not for good that is. With all kinds of news and updates out there. Although, it did seem to favor God Of War and Far Cry 5 more than anything. We did get to see the DLC for South Park: The Fractured But Whole launch and more for Detroit: Become Human, but those other two video games sure took up a whole lot of time this week. Read More...

Metro Exodus A new GDC demo for Metro Exodus has released and it gives us a new look at an old area to show how Metro Exodus will use RTX technology in game As if there was a doubt before that Metro Exodus was going to be the best-looking title in the line of titles so far, we have a new tech demo fresh from GDC that shows us just how amazing the game can look. This all comes from a collaboration between 4A Games and NVidia to use their new RTX technology in the 4A Engine. Yes, I know that sounds like a lot of technobabble for some gamers out there but it does all tie back into Metro Exodus. Read More...
