by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
A new cinematic trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been released to tell some more story and we get briefed on more Mass Effect goings on in the universe I hope you are ready for some more excitement here today as it looks like we have more to look at for Mass Effect: Andromeda in both a cinematic way and a briefing way. Both of which not really showing much in terms of the gameplay but a lot more on the way of the world that BioWare is bringing to us. Or at least lack of world as it seems that is what we are on the hunt for still in Mass Effect: Andromeda based on the new cinematic trailer that we have here. Read More…

Even More Gameplay For Ghost Recon Wildlands Drops Before The Closed Beta
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
A few more gameplay videos for Ghost Recon Wildlands have dropped just before the beta & we have word of bonuses for Ghost Recon Wildlands pre-orders Next weekend will mark the day that the Ghost Recon Wildlands closed beta kicks off and those lucky enough to get into it will have a chance to put the multiplayer through its paces. Also they'll be able to judge to see if Ubisoft is able to still deliver the experience that we've all been waiting for or if things are getting the media razzle dazzle out there. I guess that is another good aspect of having a beta for Ghost Recon Wildlands almost a month before launch unlike other titles out there that are waiting until the last few weeks to test things out. Marvel & Square Enix Have Partnered To Bring Many Games Starting With The Avengers
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 26th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
A new partnership has been announced and we are getting a new Avengers game from Marvel & Square Enix that will tell an original Avengers story in the vast universe There were some nice teases over the last few days on a new announcement coming from Marvel and Square Enix with a lot of speculation aimed at a "Marvel World" being in Kingdom Hearts III being the big news. It looks like all of that is completely wrong as now we know that it was all to announce the two giant's partnership and that we will be getting a full on video game for The Avengers sometime in the near-ish future. 2018 seems to be the year thrown around here but that doesn't stop it the excitement as there will be a nice big and flashy new Avengers game to be played out there in the mix of all of the other Marvel titles also on the way this year and the next. Yep, it looks like Arkane Studios will be wrapping up everything to get the game out to us on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5th here. That seems to be a nice date range for so many other video games out there and now Prey joins the ranks. Then we can see just how the "reboot" of the IP will pan out for Bethesda and this fairly successful developer they have tasked with it all. Read More…

Robin Moves To Action With The Latest Injustice 2 Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
During the first livestream for Injustice 2 we had a chance to see Robin in action as well as other character's new Injustice 2 super moves Yesterday we had the first livestream event for Injustice 2 with the hopes of many more before launch. For those who missed out on all of it during the MKX craze, this is where part of the NetherRealm Studios team gets together to show us new characters, character breakdowns, and other gameplay features for their games to not only hype but also inform us all. Unlike many of the other streams they have done though, it looks like there wasn't any new character to be shown off for Injustice 2 nor any solid breakdowns but at least we did get to see more than just a glimpse of Robin in action as he now has a solid gameplay trailer to show you some of the new moves and action in store for us. While the video clip here isn't completely telling of how Robin will be in Injustice 2, it is something new and it does sow off that there is still something going on in the universe where swords to the gut don't kill beings without super powers. A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare's next Zombies DLC has shown up so we can see how to rave Call Of Duty style with said zombies Hopefully in the mix of all of the other games launching and getting updates here you haven't forgotten about Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare and the DLC that still needs to get out there for the game. The next big batch of it all is landing, on the PS4 at least, on January 31st here from Infinity Ward and of course that means that the Zombies mode will be getting another huge batch of content too. Hopefully we will get word on when Activision will bring all of this to the Xbox One and PC fans of Call Of Duty, but for now this is where we are with it all. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
The DLC for Resident Evil 7 now has some solid details and release dates even though Resident Evil 7 has just launched worldwide now Well, today is the day and Resident Evil 7 has launched out there in the world which would normally just mean that all we would get is a nice little update and a launch trailer to look at for those who were still holding out for the game. It's the usual way it goes but it looks like Capcom is mixing things up here as it looks like not only did they give us a rather telling launch trailer to gaze upon, but they also detailed out the first two major DLC packs that will be coming to Resident Evil 7 and one of them will be here in only a few short days. Yes, you read that. Read More…

Soon We Will All Be Lost In The Horrors Of The Crow's Eye
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
A teaser for The Crow's Eye has been released to show off the dark environments of The Crow's Eye that we'll have to survive and solve puzzles in In the mix of all of the big horror going on today in gaming, let's take a moment to look at a smaller title that will be coming soon here in the way of The Crow's Eye. This is a new little title for the PC that will be launching here in Q1 of this year from 3D2 Entertainment and Nkidu Games that places us in a shutdown medical university with a very dark history. So dark that it was shut down in the game's world due to a lot of unexplained disappearances of students, police officers, and professors. Read More…

Here's A New Look At Ghost Recon Wildlands' World & Toys
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
A new showcase video for Ghost Recon Wildlands has sprung up to show off the world of Ghost Recon Wildlands as well as the guns and how they sound Hopefully by now you have seen just how beautiful Ghost Recon Wildlands could potentially look when you spin it up on March 7th. So far it has looked amazing and sounds amazing but given how we've been burned in the past by other Ubisoft titles and the sizzle of promotional materials, it could leave one thinking that we are getting the razzle dazzle yet again. That's why I generally like to stay cautiously optimistic to pessimistic at all times so I won't be let down just in case games like Ghost Recon Wildlands don't live up to all of the hype and visuals that we are given during development. This Week In Video Games 1/16/17 — 1/20/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 21st of January 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site Put one more week in video games in the bag and then get ready for even more to come here in the next few weeks. Not only do we have some solid titles releasing like Resident Evil 7 and some new Early Access and betas with Conan Exiles and For Honor respectfully, but it looks like the ball has begun to roll on many other of those video games that we've been waiting to hear more about. Hells, we will also hopefully have a better view at Call Of Cthulhu and Werewolf: The Apocalypse during the big event from Focus Home at the start of February. It totally looks like things are trying to be made right in 2017 given how last year rolled out. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
The limited time Final Fantasy XV event, Moogle Chocobo Carnival, starts next week and we can see what it adds to Final Fantasy XV if you get the pack By now you have most likely picked up Final Fantasy XV Holiday Pack in either Free form or as part of the Season Pass for the game. It seemed odd to have been released so far back and with only a few bits of the content ready for us out of the box but Square Enix put it out there and it is still available for all to download in which ever form on the PS4 and Xbox One. Mixed in were a few new outfits for the characters of Final Fantasy XV and other minor bits but the bulk of it was listed as coming at a later date when the in-game event kicked off in the way of the Moogle Chocobo Carnival. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
A breakdown of Ghost Recon Wildlands' single player missions has been placed out there giving 22 minutes of new Ghost Recon Wildlands gameplay We've had some pretty good looks at Ghost Recon Wildlands in the past and I am sure we will see a whole lot more as we get closer to March 7th but here we go with yet another one to get us ready to play the single player part of the game here. There is still the multiplayer part coming and heading to beta as Ubisoft is want to do, but here we are to focus on the single player part. Ghost Recon Wildlands is an open-world game after all and even though you will have a squad to control, it should be seen as a huge part of the overall game. Read More…
