Leon’s Backstory Is A Bit Different In The Resident Evil 2 Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
It has been pointed out that the Resident Evil 2 Remake will be changing Leon’s backstory a bit than we knew in Resident Evil 2 The differences from the Resident Evil 2 Remake and the original game are growing outside of just visuals and a bit of level design as it has been spotted that story elements are being shifted a bit too. This is something I always figured Capcom would do here too, but now we have more proof as it looks like Leon's backstory is getting shifted a bit too. Some say to a less dark place than we knew in the original Resident Evil 2, but it feels a bit more fitting given what we will be experiencing in the game. Read More…

Devil May Cry 5 Will Have Some Odd Live-Action Mixed In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
A new tease for the live-action parts of Devil May Cry 5 have been revealed and it looks just as odd as Devil May Cry has ever looked before One of the more odd things added into the Deluxe Edition of Devil May Cry 5 has to be the inclusion of live-action options for the cutscenes in the game. Given that this edition is the only way to unlock them during the game is the first part, but also it is live-action mixed into an all-digital game. It seems like a waste of money on Capcom's end, but they are going to do what they are going to do. Read More…

Relive The Story That Will Lead Up To Metro Exodus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
A nice recap of the Metro story so far is here to get us all ready for when Metro Exodus finally launches next year It has been some time between the last title in the series and when we will be seeing Metro Exodus. About five years or so have passed by in the real world and about two in the game world. There is a whole lot of information that we could have missed or let slip through since 4A Games delivered us a title in the franchise. That means that there is a lot riding on Metro Exodus at this point so we may need to recap a few things before diving in on February 15th. Read More…

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Has More Gameplay To Take In
by Duke Searles [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is here to give us a bit more on how this No More Heroes title will handle at launch We have some new gameplay for the upcoming Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes here and it gives us a small taste of what we can expect to see on January 18th. I hope you have a Switch or received one over the holidays as it will be exclusively there still, but at least it looks like Grasshopper Manufacture will give us a reason to stick with the console. It also helps if you are a fan of the No More Heroes franchise too as this is a new story and fresh start for the titular character we have been following along over a few games already. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
A rating for a new Serious Sam Collection has been spotted that suggests the old Serious Sam titles will be heading to the PS4 and Xbox One It looks as if a new Serious Sam Collection has been spotted out in the wild. Well, at least the rating for the collection has been and nothing that Croteam has officially stated, but it does sound like we could be seeing a collection here. Oh, we already had one? Well, this Serious Sam Collection is poised to hit the PS4 and Xbox One instead of the older consoles as the previous one did. Read More…

Jump Force Has A Few More Characters Joining The Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
A few more characters for Jump Force are here to look at as the roster for Jump Force expands just a little bit more before launch It is getting close to launch and we still have more characters coming for Jump Force as we have another video that shows some off. At least one new one and then one that was announced by Bandai Namco already and getting the flashing showing now. Unless you have seen Deku from My Hero Academia and/or Asta from Black Clover in the past for Jump Force before last week. I do not think I have, so we will treat them as fully new for our purposes. Virtually Choose Your Own Way Through Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
The first dev diary for Afterlife is here to show us how the team has started to bring this VR choose-your-own-adventure about the Afterlife to life Here we go with a new little twist on the VR and live-action as Afterlife is bringing both of those together to give us an interesting experience with a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure twist. That is at least as it basically sounds with a darker and grimmer style of story tacked on here. I mean, Signal Space Lab is taking us through an "intimate journey through tragedy, grief, and acceptance" in the experience here so… In any instance, we have a new behind the scenes look at how Afterlife is being put together to show that a great VR game can be done with live-action sequences and not all virtually generated stuff. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 22nd of December 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We are almost at the last week of video games of the year as we head towards Christmas and then New Years. Weirdly, this year did not seem to slow down as we made it to the end and we will all take that. From new things to look at for Devil May Cry 5 and Kingdom Hearts over to other updates for Control and Resident Evil it does not look like we are going to hit a wall here in 2018. At least in terms of video games that is. Read More…

Enjoy The Human Side Of Adventuring With Outward
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The release date for Outward is now set and we have a breakdown of how Outward will differ from the many other RPGs out there Maybe you have been looking for a different way to go at the traditional RPG style of games as of late. If that is the case then I am here to show you Outward as it has been saddled with a release date now and we can see this new take on the genre hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in March of next year. In fact, Deep Silver has set the date down as March 26th of 2019 where we will be experiencing the new RPG from Nine Dots in full. Granted, RPGs may not be your jam, but Outward offers up a new way to look at it all as we play as a random human in the world we have been given here. Read More…

The Final Word Of J. Jonah Jameson Is Here For Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
The final DLC for Spider-Man is here and we have one more update via Just The Facts to show us what we can expect for Spider-Man yet again The final DLC of the Season Pass for Spider-Man is now officially here for us all to download and experience. I have a feeling it will be the final DLC for the game outside of costumes and other little things, unless Insomniac Games surprises us with more out the blue. I would rather have a full new story and game instead of little bits here for Spider-Man, but I am not the one calling the shots over there. Only time will tell for now as we have yet another reason to pop back on to the game and our PS4. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
A new video for Degrees Of Separation is here to take us through the basics of Degrees Of Separation and how we can play the game co-op or solo You may have heard a lot about Degrees Of Separation, and seen a little bit before now, but now we are here with the first gameplay out there to show off just what we can expect from this game when it lands on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on February 14th. Control’s World Is Expanded Just A Bit More Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
The next trailer for Control is here to take us back into the Oldest House again and show off more of what the Federal Bureau of Control are dealing with Get ready for more of that “new weird” we keep hearing about for Control as we have yet another trailer for the game that goes into just a bit more of all of that. Not too much as it looks to be a lot of the same visuals we have had a few times, but there is some new narration that further explains a bit more of the history in the world being built by Remedy here. That is always a good thing when dealing such strangeness as we have since Control was first announced. Read More…

We Are Heading Back To Hell As We Have The Announcement For Succubus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of December 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
A spin-off game, Succubus, is now announced and will further expand the story of Agony’s Succubus demon than the core game did If you have had a chance to play Agony, then you may know about the character known as the Succubus and the little bit you get to play as the demon. It was a little bit but something that Madmind Studio gave us and then left us to the rest of that game. Strangely enough, that was not the end of the story there and now we have word that we are getting a whole spin-off game called Succubus to further explore that demon. I am not sure if that is what the masses were asking for there, but it is now coming and set to hit the PC at some point. Read More…
