Oddworld: Soulstorm Delivers A Little More Gameplay To Showcase

Oddworld

New gameplay for Oddworld: Soulstorm is here from the Epic Spring Showcase to show off some of the advancements Oddworld will be getting

Slowly but surely, we are getting new things for Oddworld: Soulstorm out there and with the Epic Spring Showcase we have here, there is a little more to take in for the game. Not a whole lot more as it still looks like Oddworld Inhabitants are playing much of the gameplay close to the chest, but it is something. All while we wait for Oddworld: Soulstorm to hit the PS4, PS5, and PC sometime this Spring. We still do not have a release date locked down for that but that is a good indicator that we are less than half a year away from it hitting our systems. Something I will gladly hold on to for the time being.

What we do get to see here for Oddworld: Soulstorm does show off a bit of the crafting system and new tools that Abe will need to use to help all of his fellow Mudokons escape the hardships of it all. That and a few new tricks and elements we will be able to use in the game to hide and possibly take down some of the enemies out there. Mixed in with the promise of finding out even more for Abe since the start of it all with the first Oddworld title. I know I am amped to find out that information as the story seems to always grow and mutate over the years. Have a look and see the little bit more we have for the game as we wait for the months to tick on by.

How do you feel about the crafting system we see here and the new items Abe will have to use in Oddworld? Do you think it will make things easier or will the difficulty be ramped up even more given the new threats we will have to endure too? How do you think this will expand the entire story and IP up to now or will it leave us with more questions yet again? Let us have all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you wish. If there is more to share for Oddworld: Soulstorm, we will share it all here. Be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and much more.
