Devil May Cry 5 Will Have Some Odd Live-Action Mixed In

Devil May Cry

A new tease for the live-action parts of Devil May Cry 5 have been revealed and it looks just as odd as Devil May Cry has ever looked before

One of the more odd things added into the Deluxe Edition of Devil May Cry 5 has to be the inclusion of live-action options for the cutscenes in the game. Given that this edition is the only way to unlock them during the game is the first part, but also it is live-action mixed into an all-digital game. It seems like a waste of money on Capcom's end, but they are going to do what they are going to do. There is still a whole lot more they can do before Devil May Cry 5 lands on March 8th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We will just have to wait and see how things progress along the way.

What we no longer need to wait for is a look at how these live-action scenes will look in Devil May Cry 5. At least in terms of early production without any of the post-production added in to bring these scenes to life. It is a short little look, but the official Twitter handle for Devil May Cry is offering up a short look with the promise of more to come in the near future. I mean, that would make sense given the release date, but it felt like it needed to be said here. You can see the weirdness of it all down below and see if it will be fully worth buying the Deluxe Edition of the game to be able to switch these on in the full game.

What new thoughts do you have for these live-action scenes for Devil May Cry 5 that we have here? Will you need to see the final versions before making a full judgement or do you see it as a weird thing to add in general to the game? Do you think this could be something new going forward in gaming or is it a step back to the 90s as we saw with other Capcom titles? Let us know in the comments and then discuss.
