Resident Evil 2’s Remake Adds In Even More Costumes To Don

Resident Evil

The Resident Evil 2 Remake has two more costumes coming at it from the original version of Resident Evil 2 and for free to all

We thought we had seen all of the costumes coming to the Resident Evil 2 Remake with our last big update, but it seems like we have two more to add into the mix as a nice little Halloween treat from Capcom. That is at least if you wanted to have some of your classic characters show back up in this new version of the game. That should have tipped you off to the fact that we are now getting Leon and Claire's classic costumes added in for this romp through Resident Evil 2 on January 25th. For all platforms and all for free. You cannot knock that too hard now can you?

This is something we should have all seen coming when we first saw that the Resident Evil 2 Remake was not using the original looks for the characters but a more updated one. There is nothing wrong with that at all, I rather like the newer looks, but it did lay the path for these new costumes to come right along. At least they are doing right by us all and not requiring anything crazy to be able to enjoy them. At least as of this moment, there is nothing listed to be able to access them in Resident Evil 2. There might be some kind of story progression we have to go through to get there, but that still means they are all free for everyone.

You can, of course, have a look at these new costumes for the Resident Evil 2 Remake just below. They add that right level of nostalgia for old fans and a nice new option for the newer fans who were not around when the first version of the game came out. Good call on Capcom for all of this.

Resident Evil 2 Remake — Classic Costumes

We have a treat for you! As a thanks for your undying support, we’re providing all Resident Evil 2 Remake players with a piece of nostalgia: Leon and Claire’s classic costumes will be unlockable in-game, for free!

Are you at all surprised by the Resident Evil 2 Remake getting these costumes added into the mix here? Did you also figure it was just going to happen or did you think that we were only going to get the previously mentioned ones with the new versions of the characters for the game? Will this be the end of all of the costumes or will we have a whole lot more along the way to entice us all just a bit more? Let everyone out there know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. As we unearth more on this version of Resident Evil 2, we will add it up on the site. Just be sure to keep checking in so you do not miss on a thing.
