Visage
More gameplay for horror title Visage is here and it shows just what we can expect when Visage finally launches sometime in the near future
If you have been keeping an eye on the horror title Visage that popped up not too long ago, then you are most likely hoping to see some new gameplay for it all to see how this P.T.-influenced title is coming along. That would be the hope at least and as it looks, SadSquare Studio has provided as we have another nice long bit to look at for the horror game that is slated to come to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. When is still anyone's guess, but for now we have a nice 22-minute look at Visage and just what it will all be entailing. Have a look at the new footage now and see just where the game is all heading.

I guess using the term game for Visage is a bit off as it looks more to be an experience more than anything. At least that is going to start being my takeaway when it comes to titles that are walking simulators and small scavenger hunts. That is not to say that Visage does not look like something that can bring us what we originally meant to come with the title that has influenced it and other horror game, but walking around and looking at stuff is not a game in my book. It is more like a haunted museum with a few interactive parts. Maybe I am just getting jaded at this point.
Anyways, I can completely see how P.T. influenced Visage as a lot of the elements and decor look to be pulled right out of the other title. Including the set up for the photo-shelf and how some of the features in the room react by just being in there. I am a fan of how SadSquare Studio is using our own heads to freak us out more than anything. I know I was watching the whole video above waiting for a jump-scare that did not come until almost the end. Even when there was so much in there to build up to a good scare. Just the way a psychological-horror should be here in Visage.
What are your thoughts on Visage and the new footage that we have here for it? Does it look more like a horror walking sim than a game or do you see serious gameplay elements that were lost on me? Do you think that the fear of the unknown is working well here in this gameplay or is it becoming so rote that it is losing its effect on us all? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. As we see more for Visage, we will have it here for you. Be sure to keep checking back in on the site for all of it and see if it keep scaring you.
