South Park: The Fractured But Whole Is Officially In Gold Status

South Park

Gold status has hit South Park: The Fractured But Whole so get ready to fully dive in and save South Park here in a few week’s time

This could be some of the best news we have had this week as South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been officially granted Gold Status and will be completely ready for us all on October 17th. It has been a crazy wait and roller coaster of things for Ubisoft to finally get everything to the state it needed to be here, and now we can rest assured that there will be no further delays for the game. Now we only have to wait another month or so and we have the new season of South Park to help us through all of that currently so it should be a short wait. Of course, you could pre-order the game and get The Stick Of Truth for free to help carry you as well as get the ball rolling for all the connections that will be between the two. This looks to include a few in game things for The Fractured But Whole so…

To go along with this new announcement for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, we also have a nice little trailer to remind you of most of what I mentioned above. Not only that, but it also shows off another bit of the game where we are tasked to help a "Gay Fish" and his grandmother to get into Heaven using our super powers and the team up with Sea Man. The humor almost writes itself here at this point. However, it does look like this South Park title will be pulling in gameplay from other games too as the mission looks to play out like Flappy Bird or any number of the clones that came from that game's success. Have a look and then get ready for The Fractured But Whole to be here in a few short weeks.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the original delay for South Park: The Fractured But Whole was based off of something that seems to have been removed. I could be wrong as I remember Kanye West's likeness being in some of the earlier trailers for The Fractured But Whole, but here we see just a fish taking on the title that he holds on the show. This could be how the mission and trailer are cut, but I do wonder if there were legal issues with him being in South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and thus caused a lot of rewrites and removals. I would not be surprised if that was the case, and would much rather that have been the issue instead of thinking there were technical flaws with the core game. I could be off though as this is only speculation based on this trailer here and nothing else.

Are you glad to see that South Park: The Fractured But Whole has finally been given a Gold Status or did you figure that Ubisoft would not miss another release date for the game? Do you like the addition of those other gameplay elements that look like are coming to the game here or do you think they we be very few and only small references for fun? Do you think that there were legal issues mixed in for the original delay or am I off my rocker for speculating that at this point? Feel free to comment and discuss below. For more on South Park: The Fractured But Whole, make sure to keep checking into the site here, as we will have it all. Do not miss out as there is only so much time before the launch now.
