Final Fantasy XV
It has been confirmed that Final Fantasy XV has hit a beta milestone where Final Fantasy XV can be played from start to finish by the developer
If you are looking for good news for Final Fantasy XV…then you have come to the right location as it looks like the game is heading to a pre-beta stage for the developers. It may not sound like much but this could be another step closer to getting that elusive Final Fantasy XV release date from Square Enix as the entire game can now be played from start to finish. It may not be what we all expect to see on the PS4 and Xbox One when it finally releases but March of next year could usher in a huge thing for Final Fantasy XV if development keeps up like this.
All of this comes right from the source as Kitade Satoshi, a programmer for Final Fantasy XV, as stated on the Japanese forum for the game. It has been translated but even if the basics are about right it looks like the first half of Final Fantasy XV is in the polished state and only a few more elements of the game are looking to be implemented and placed in. Given the descriptions here I am going to guess that these are just little extras that could be left out of Final Fantasy XV to get the game out to market but I am sure they won't be as they have months before anything else is to be set in stone.
The game can be played from beginning to the end. So everyone in the development team can play the entire game and see the big picture, and share their thoughts on the overall game. We can polish up the game, add/adjust some details so the game can reach the quality needed for the final product.
There are few elements that are in still test stage so it's not completely implemented, but it's important that we can share the big picture of the overall game to everyone.
The first half of the game is pretty much completely polished. So we have idea of how the final game will look and feel. We have idea of how much work is needed to make the game in it's final state. We also have some guests from outside the company come and play the game so we get the feel of how users play the game, and see how the pace/balance is for the players.
