Every time we take another look at inFAMOUS Second Son all I can think is how we are getting closer to being able to play out our fantasies in a simulation of real world locations. Seattle being the location in this instance. This seems a bit odd for the fire and neon wielding hero of the game as it is well known for its rain but I am sure it will work somehow. It can't be that much rain to extinguish or hamper any of the crazy powers nor explosions that will occur from said powers.
If you've been reading for a while you will know that I have a penchant for how certain games are built from the ground up and inFAMOUS Second Son is another one of those titles. Hence the dev diary showing off the team doing what I think will be something that most gamers out there will miss or under appreciate; the environmental art. I mean be honest, in a title like inFAMOUS Second Son how often are you really looking at everything in the world and not just trying to find more to blow up or kill? Like I said, be honest.
I completely recommend giving it a watch even if you are not a game engine or design nerd like I am as it really give a bit of praise to those who make the games we love. It may also spark you to do what is talked about with the Share button while you are playing inFAMOUS Second Son. Who knows, right?
