There is no price difference for the "Epic Edition" from any standard price for a new title ($59.99) but there are a few extras outside of the Gears beta. Those being 25,000 experience points and visual upgrades for the iconic leash, deadly Peace Maker Carbine, boots and armor for online play. Nothing as major as the Gears 3 thing for XBoxers.
I do wonder if this is like the promotion that EA did for Dante's Inferno and the divine edition or not though. It could also be that EA just wants to ensure that Bulletstorm actual sells well on the XBox, which this promotion will completely do. All of those Gears fanatics will chomp at the bit to get early access to the beta. If it costs $60 and they get another game too, why not? Right?
So if you want to buy your way into the beta, pre-order away. Just be sure to do that before February 22nd.
