With that being announced, Sony was also nice enough to show off exactly what the Ultimate Edition will look like before you open it, and then after. Look below for those pictures. The one of the giant black box with Kratos all over it and the one with Pandora's box and contents. Not a bad looking deal for only $99 (US MSRP).
To go even further, if you look below you will also see some of the concept art for monsters, locations, and bosses of the game. No real description given with them, but for the most part us fans can see what is what. At least as far as the franchise staple enemies. Minotaurs, Titans, and Cerberi abound. Granted most are just the concepts, but we can still get a great idea on what they will look like in the final product.
But that is also not all. Also announced with all of this is the fact that the God of War Collection has been dropped in price to $29 (US MSRP). So if you held out before (What kind of God of War fan are you?), you can now get the first two games for a lower price. Not to shabby.
And finally before I let you to look at the pretty pictures, a new trailer for the game will be airing on SPIKE’s GameTrailers TV starting February 11th. Hopefully something epic to get all of our panties moist just before the marketing campaign goes into full swing. We'll just have to wait and see.
