It Is Almost Time To Go Out To Check Out Mortal Kombat II

Mortal Kombat

The Mortal Kombat universe is about to expand more, as we have one more teaser for Mortal Kombat II before it hits theaters

In just a week, on May 8th, we are all going to get to fucking go with Mortal Kombat II finally hitting theaters out there. A title that many have been waiting for, as it seems to be ditching the parts of the first film that didn't work, while bringing more from the games that fans have been waiting for. Obviously, the big one is Johnny Cage, with Karl Urban behind bringing the character to life. Up to now, we have had a dash of other Mortal Kombat characters pop up and be speculated on, but now we get a nice showcasing of them all. Just ahead of the film's release in theaters. Not a bad idea, and one that should have us all hyped up out there. Even if it does look as if we're not getting the full extended cast, I'm sure the diehard fans will want it.

To kick things off, this is a little more than just a character showcase for Mortal Kombat II, as it does have a little bit of the story mixed in. Not only the story, which seems to be following the games further, but a nice little kameo by Ed Boon to help call out things fans have been complaining about for a while. After the tongue-in-cheek bits, we get to see the fights carry on, and the characters' moves are fully brought in. Along with a few of the famous fatalities, we can expect to find out there. Like Johnny Cage's "nut shock" attack, and Sindel being powerful enough to scream down energy blasts. Not to mention, we are getting Quan Chi and Bi Han in the game. Even if I'm sure more fans would have rather seen a true Sub-Zero back in action, we just have to roll with the punches we are getting out there. Have a look and get ready to fucking go to the movies again.
