I Must Find Her Will Give Us Gameplay From A Different View Of The Chernobyl Events

I Must Find Her

Gameplay for I Must Find Her is out there, and it further highlights how I Must Find Her will offer up a different take on these events

With the many titles that have been out there about the Chernobyl disaster, it is interesting to see one take a different approach as I Must Find Her seems to be doing. We are still going to see a lot of the walking around and darkness that seeped into the world from it all, but it seems that Evil Deal Games will be mixing in a few other things into the game that might take us to some darker places. Usually, we get to see soldiers and other workers at the facility get their stories played out, but in I Must Find Her we get to hear how it affected the local population who were just living their lives before all of it. In this game, that is what we will be playing, along with the team mixing in some real-world radio broadcasts to add a bit more to the darkness of it all. That could be a bit more intense for those who are sensitive to it all, that is for sure.

All of that is needed to add to the creepiness of the I Must Find Her gameplay we have to share with you here. Especially, since it will look like it is a lot more of the same we have seen, just with us playing as a father in an endless loop that has been started from the disaster. That is a little bit of the Sci-Fi of it all, but it is needed for the game to be able to tell the darker story of it all. Not to mention, drive the puzzles of I Must Find Her a little more as we hear the real-world instances play out. Again, the side of the story that does feel as if it is hardly ever told out there. Those dead need to have their memories kept alive, and not just those who might have been the true cause of it all. Have a look and a listen to it all in the following video out there.

I Must Find Her — Gameplay

Father finds himself in an endless, mysterious loop that turns a foggy section of an ordinary Soviet road into the scenery of a real psychological thriller.

Many people tell stories about the events in Chernobyl after the disaster, but no one talks about what happened to ordinary people — residents of the city of Pripyat.

The story is based on real events, and the player is immersed in the events of one of the most mysterious incidents of the last century — Chernobyl Events, getting a chance to hear real radio reports about the tragic episodes of those days, and also be able to understand what motivates the hero, where his daughter disappeared and experience for yourself what it was like for the residents of the city of Pripyat, who had to evacuate and leave their homes.

Gameplay:

  • Deep first—person view promotes exciting immersion into the world of I Must Find Her - sounds, movements, and interaction with the world are recreated as realistically as possible
  • Non-standard loop mechanics of creating a loop on a blocked road section
  • Find out how the mysterious road loop, that the main character is trapped in, and look for ways to break its rules and try to leave;
  • Study real radio recordings, newspapers, and posters from that period
  • Interact with almost everything you see on the road, find clues and ways to understand what happened to the hero, his daughter, and the world around them
  • In I Must Find Her, you will not find standard puzzles; all solutions are intuitive and understandable, but require logical reflection and a deep dive into the plot and the fate of the characters.

To recreate the most realistic atmosphere of the events of the evacuation of the city of Pripyat, several hours of real-life negotiations between dispatchers of the Chernobyl power plant, as well as fire brigades, have been added to the game.
