LAG KILLS
A new horror title, LAG KILLS, has been announced with us seeing just how LAG KILLS out there in the world
I do not think a single gamer out there has never succumbed to rage at any point in their lives, and that is a little bit of the point in the upcoming LAG KILLS. A new survival horror title that we are getting on the PC from Deranged Games. Not that we are going to be playing as the killer, but that we are going to be keeping clear of a gamer who has lost their mind due to the amount of lag they have been experiencing. Hence why it is called LAG KILLS and not LAG IS A KILLER. Both could work, but given the place this title is coming from, I am sure that the prior is the better title to go with for when this one comes to the markets out there.
As the story goes here, the idea behind LAG KILLS comes from one of the team having so much rage while playing a game, that they knew things would end horribly if someone happened to break into the house in that moment. Taking that inspiration, they made the story and game here where we are playing a s adown on our luck criminal. One who is just trying to survive and thinks they have an easy score in a place that should be empty. Unfortunately, there happens to be a gamer in the house who has just gone through the loss of a game and hears us coming in. That is where the core of the gameplay for LAG KILLS comes in, as we need to keep clear, still loot the house, and then escape with all of that as this enraged gamer tracks us down with a knife. A dark way to portray the community in general, but given that it stems from some truth, I can see how it kind of works.
LAG KILLS — Announcement
In LAG KILLS, desperation and fear collide. After a life-altering car accident that leaves them unable to cover rising medical bills, players and a trusted friend make a last-ditch decision. Break into what seems like an empty property in search of valuables. What awaits them is far from vacant. Instead, they must loot, hide, survive, and escape before the owner finds them. Every playthrough offers unpredictable AI behavior, creating a fresh, nerve-racking experience every time. Gameplay supports solo play, with online co-op coming in the very near future, giving both lone wolves and friends a chance to test their wits against psychological cat-and-mouse horror.
Key Features:
- Dynamic Survival Horror: Use stealth, sound, and environment to avoid detection. The owner listens carefully.
- Single Player Or Co-Op: Survive alone, or team up with a friend and plan your escape together.
- Replayable Tension: Each run is unpredictable thanks to AI-driven behavior; no two games are the same.
- Atmospheric Horror: Realistic environments, mature themes, and intense scenarios designed to keep players on edge.
What do you think about LAG KILLS, and does it paint the gaming community in a bad light? Will there be anything else that is driving this killer, or will it be truly just the anger of having lag in their game? Have you ever been driven to that level of anger, and have you sought out therapy to help deal with those issues? I hope you have. That all said, LAG KILLS is still on the way to the market as of now, so we can expect there to be more to share for the game in the coming months. We will try to keep up on it, and maybe see if it offers more than just gamer rage for why the killer is hunting us down. Not that a home invasion is not a good reason in general. Please keep on coming back to see all of that and follow along on our social media to see how this all progresses.
