Quite A Ride Has A New Update To Pump Our Brakes Over

Quite A Ride

A new look at Quite A Ride is out there, along with an announcement that Quite A Ride has a new publisher bringing it to market

Start pedaling a bit faster out there, as the horrors of Quite A Ride are getting closer to getting us. At least when the game is ready to ride on out there on the PC. Something that I know Goodwin Games is working hard on, so we have this weird biking experience where we are locked into a biking mode of transportation. I say all of this, as it looks as if they were able to also land Silver Lining Interactive to help get Quite A Ride over the finish line out there. Not the grandest of news for many, but this does all come with a bit of new gameplay for us all to take a ride with. So, let us all do that now that we have the core business out of the way.

Let us start that ride up the hill now, with the new gameplay for Quite A Ride. New gameplay that seems to give us a fun little companion for our horrible journey, as well as a look at how we will be exploring certain areas of the world. It does look like we will be able to get off our bike in certain spots, so do not expect to be locked in the whole time. That might just come about when whatever it is that is stalking the area decides to come after us, and we need to make a quick escape. Something that might need to be done often, as our phone in Quite A Ride will be used to offer a bit more than just light about the maps, which was to be expected. All so we can solve yet another mystery in the world, and try to make it back from this ever-shifting one, so we can let all of humanity know what is going on. Just like a good little bike investigator out there.

Quite A Ride — Gameplay

Break out the bike pumps and brace your nerves: Silver Lining Interactive is officially partnering with Goodwin Games to publish the surreal, thrilling, pedal-powered survival horror - Quite A Ride.

A Journey Through Fog, Fear, and the Unknown

Quite A Ride invites players to venture into a haunting rural landscape where thick mist spawns anomalies, poisoning the land. Travelling on a bicycle, players must explore, record their findings, and survive in the ever-shifting horror to uncover the truth: what is going on?

Key Pillars:

  • 🚴 Bicycle Survival — Keep pedaling to stay ahead of the horrors lurking in the fog. Stop for too long, and you may not escape.
  • 📱 Mysterious Phone — A cryptic silhouette lives in your phone, sending messages that may help… or deceive you.
  • 🌫 Shifting World — Explore an ever-changing road filled with strange labs, abandoned towns, and disturbing discoveries.
  • 🔋 Limited Battery — Your phone’s battery drains over time but recharges only when you ride. Manage your energy wisely. The phone is the key to survival.
  • 👁 Don’t Look Back — The thing that chases you is always near. You can hear it. You can feel it. But if you look at it…
  • 🌍 Collective Progress — Players’ collective global efforts can change the environment, unlocking new locations, hidden characters, and secret quests over time.

Does it feel like we might be in the home stretch for Quite A Ride now that we have a publisher, or will that just make it easier for the team to get the game out in general? How often will we have to race away from these horrible things, and will they be more than set encounters along the way? How are we going to recharge our phone in the game, and will it be in a way that makes more sense than magical batteries we pick up? Let us have those thoughts in the comment section so we can discuss them and everything else going on. As promised, we are keeping up with all that we can for Quite A Ride, so you will want to keep following along on the site and our social channels to keep up as well. We are biking into a dark future, and we are going to need all of the distractions we can get with all of the video games.
