Disney
All of the Disney IPs are on the way for us at SDCC 2025 with many events, experiences, and panels from Disney Entertainment Television
With all of the weird mergers going on out there, it is nice to see that Disney is still going to bring so many of their IPs back to SDCC this year. Some of them, we all might not even know that were part of the new-ish umbrella, but will have a massive presence out there. Some of them will just be basic photo-ops, others will be panels, and others will have some extra events and parties going down for them. Even if a lot of them might not be the main IPs one would think of, but all under the Disney Entertainment Television banner. So, let us have a look at how Alien, King Of The Hill, and Abbott Elementary will be joining the ranks of Percy Jackson And The Olympians at SDCC 2025. As I said, a whole lot of IPs and all over the run of things out there.
To kick things off, it looks like fan-favorite things from the past will be back on site for the convention, with Disney giving us a few activations around the area. Abbott Elementary will have another of the carnivals going on, this time in the form of a block party. One where we will be able to ride some rides, take in some Philly Water Ice, and collect a few things that have been found in the "lost and found." If school is not your thing, then you can play hooky and head to a fun Backyard Cookout with the characters from King Of The Hill or head off to a Godly experience near the convention with Percy Jackson. Those looking for a dark bend on the Disney IPs now, can head off to a crash site and wander The Wreckage of a ship from the upcoming Alien: Earth show. You can see a few of those mock-up designs for it all below. If none of those are your jam, know that all of those shows and many others will have panels running inside the convention. You will need a badge for those, but all of the outside events will be open to all who are in the San Diego, CA area from July 23rd to July 27th.
Disney Entertainment Television Announces 2025 San Diego Comic-Con Programming With A Lineup For Every Fan In The Family
Disney Entertainment Television takes over Downtown San Diego this July with block parties, space wreckage, mythic adventures and more - delivering an all-star programming lineup and unforgettable experiences from across its portfolio of content brands including 20th Television, 20th Television Animation, ABC, Disney+, Disney Branded Television, FX, and Hulu.
Beginning Thursday, July 24, Hulu’s King Of The Hill Backyard Cookout, ABC’s A Very Abbott Block Party, FX’s “Alien: Earth” - “The Wreckage,” and The Percy Jackson Experience outdoor activations will be open to the public directly outside the San Diego Convention Center; plus, 13 star-studded panels; and inside the convention halls, autograph signing sessions and exclusive giveaways from fan favorite series at the Disney Entertainment Television booth throughout the weekend. At the booth, fans can also step back in time with the Disney+ Rewind Room - a throwback photo experience celebrating iconic films and series from the ’90s and 2000s.
Abbott Elementary is ready to FUN-raise at San Diego Comic-Con, inviting attendees to experience A Very Abbott Block Party where the blacktop’s been cleared; the faculty is off-duty (kind of); and the neighborhood has come out to play - no permission slips required. From authentic Philly water ice and waterfront views from a sky-high Ferris wheel to exclusive premiums from the school’s Lost and Found, it is sure to be the hottest party on the block.
This year, Hulu’s King Of The Hill experience is bringing Arlen’s favorite family straight to fans. Step into the Hill family’s backyard for a big ole cookout, complete with BBQ bites served up throughout the day, classic lawn games, themed photo ops and a cold can of Alamo (water) to beat the heat. As the go-to streaming destination for adult animation, Hulu is excited to cook up custom merch and exclusive prizes, bringing King Of The Hill to life in this celebration located right next to the Convention Center in the Bayfront’s Parking Lot A.
FX will be transporting fans into the immersive world of FX’s Alien: Earth. Housed on the Hilton Bayfront Lawn, the experience will bring the mysterious wreckage of the USCSS Maginot to San Diego Comic-Con complete with interactive thrills and never-before-seen alien specimens. Guests can visit The Wreckage during the day to explore new areas of the USCSS Maginot, or brave a terrifying mission at The Wreckage: Code Red once the sun goes down.
Joining in on the festivities for the first time, Percy Jackson And The Olympians is inviting guests to embark on an epic journey into the Sea of Monsters at the Percy Jackson Experience. Located at Fifth Ave and L St, fans will have the chance to see through the mist, discover which of the gods they’ve been claimed by, and use exclusive drachma for God Inspired swag from mythological beings. Let the quest begin!
The band is back together! Join Phineas and Ferb at San Diego Comic-Con at their pop-up photo experience. Visit for a chance to snag a photo in the life-sized Phineas And Ferb Whack-a-Pest game adjacent to the Omni hotel, and don’t forget to join the cast and crew for a very special panel reunification!

When you saw the name Disney, did you expect to see all of these IPs, or were you thinking it could be many of the others they have been known for? Will the wait for all of these events and parties be worth it, or will you be looking to sit through the many panels and see your favorite faces/voices? Will these leave fans wanting more for the various IPs, or will they accidentally spoil many of the upcoming shows before they air in our homes? Take to the comments and give us those thoughts, while keeping the discussion flowing. There are other things on the way from Disney for SDCC, and we will be out there looking at all of it. So, be sure to keep checking the site for those updates, and then our social channels to get a look at how it all flows out there live in just a few more weeks.
