Death Stranding
The release date for Death Stranding 2 is now set and we can soon get our pre-orders out there for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach
Things felt like they were only at a trickle out there for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach and that made us and many others wonder when we were going to see the game landing on the PS5 out there. Especially with all of the other things that Kojima Productions seem to be doing for the IP that were not specifically this new game. This is where it all ends, though, as it looks like we are finally going to connect back into the world of Death Stranding on June 26th now. That is the official release date for the game with pre-orders going live on March 17th. Pre-orders that might also allow us all to connect to the world just a bit sooner and in a physical way as well.
This brings us to the next phase of things with the pre-order and edition options we will have for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach along with a whole lot of new gameplay to take in. Given that this is a Kojima game, though, it is hard to define what we are seeing and the story beats we are going to have just from the video below. There are some new vehicles, gear, and massive entity fights coming our way in the game, which is the fast takeaway for those who do not want to spoil things. When it comes to the pre-orders and version, it looks as if we are going to have a few digital skins right out the gate for Death Stranding 2. Both in what can be picked up for the base game as well as just have unlocked from the start of the game instead. Then we have the Digital Deluxe and Collector's Edition. This is where you can get access to the game two days early and a lot more skins for the game. Going the collector's path, offers up a whole lot of real-world items like a 3” Dollman Figurine, 15” Magellan Man Statue, and a letter from Kojima as well. All of which are further described and shown off just a bit lower down.

Did you expect to be connecting back into Death Stranding this early in the year or did you think it was going to come closer to the end of it all? Were you able to make heads and tails of what the gameplay showed off beyond the basics or will that all be dismissed as soon as we dig into the full game just as it was before? Do you like what the options are for the pre-orders and collector's edition of the game and how will that stack up to having the full-size BB from the last game on your shelf? Take a walk on down the page to the comment section and leave all of those thoughts for us to discuss out there. With only so much time until Death Stranding 2: On The Beach drops, we can expect there to be more to try to cover for it. We will do our best at that, given the cryptic nature of the developer. So, be sure to keep on swinging by the site here to try to make sense of it all or at least to see all of the fun visuals we can experience in the game.
