The Outlast Trials Takes Us All Into A Bit Of Prime Time

A new event has started for The Outlast Trials that will add in a few more Outlast updates along with new twists to it all

We are hitting Prime Time with the next big event that has kicked off for The Outlast Trials. Something that is going to be shaking things up a bit more than before with Red Barrels putting both of the prime assets in to hunt us during the event. An event that will run from May 28th all the way to June 18th on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. An event that will also test some of the extra skills in the game with new drawbacks added in for us to manage as we go through The Outlast Trials again. It will land us some sweet new cosmetics if we can make it through it all one more time and with the new set of rules, though.

Not only will we have to face off against Mother Gooseberry and Coyle in the mix of things, but it looks like their weapons will be doing other things to us than normal. Gooseberry's drill will now cause some bleed damage that can only be stopped once we find and apply a bandage. Coyle's taser will now disable our rigs in the game and we know how terrible that will end up being when we mix in all of the other hazards in the game. All of this while we are heading back into The Outlast Trials to smash some TVs that have been placed around the game's maps. That sounds like it will be a little on the easier side, in general, but still, we require a bit of work with two of the powerhouses hunting us at the same time and doing all of the extra damage along the way. There is no rest out there…

The Outlast Trials — Prime Time

In this new update, players will face two of Outlast’s most frightening enemies at once. Mother Gooseberry and Sergeant Coyle pursue players attempting to complete the escape-room-like Trials in 4-player co-op. The Outlast Trials is available now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, and the new Prime Time event runs from May 28th to June 18th.
