Hellblade
The launch of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is here and we can now see how the saga of Hellblade will keep on going out there
It has been a bit of a wait, but we are here with the launch of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. At least if you are seeing this on May 21st or after since that is when Ninja Theory is dropping the full game on the Xbox Series X|S and PC. So, there is a little bit of a jumping the gun for the launch if you are reading this live, but it will work out for those who are joining us after the launch of the game. It is confusing, sure, but that is kind of a thing with Hellblade and not always knowing what is going on as we are getting a fully different perspective on things that many would never truly know on their own.
Since it is time for the launch of Hellblade II, we have one more video to look at to entice more players into the IP and to see how the story is going to continue out there. We have a lot more of the myth, more of the Iceland setting, and more of the psychosis that our protagonist is dealing with on top of all of the other horrible things the world is going to throw out there. Although, from the looks of all of this, it feels as if Senua is going to have a hard fall from grace after the events of Hellblade where it felt as if she was getting a grasp on things. Unless, this trailer is all about showing us some flashbacks to the harder times when the mental illness started to kick in.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II — Launch Trailer
The sequel to the award-winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without.
Captured on Xbox Series X.
Coming May 21, 2024.
I am glad to see how well Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is looking and how much more work the team has put in, but I will also have to say I am a little sad that I will be missing out on the game. Mostly as it has hit the console exclusives that I am not willing to open up to. Maybe down the line, I will give it a go on my PC, but I enjoyed playing the first Hellblade on my PlayStation and was always hoping to see it leap over there too. More so with how the developers could have used some of the haptic feedback in the controller to give even more feedback for the psychosis feeling Senua is going through. Wishful thinking on my end, sure, but partially why I will be sitting out for a bit on this launch.
Are you excited to get back into the story of Hellblade and will it dwarf that of the previous title? Will we see Senua regress back after making so much progress mentally or will all of these be shots from a flashback to further explain a few things for her? Will we ever get to see the game use some of the haptic controls via modding or will we just need to keep imagining what could never be? Head into the comment section to discuss it all and give us a piece of your mind. We are going to keep the news for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 coming as we can, so please keep on checking in for those updates and many, many more.
