Mortal Kombat
The release of Peacemaker for Mortal Kombat 1 is almost here with a look at just how the character will function in Mortal Kombat 1
Another guest fighter is on the way and we have our first look at Peacemaker just before he makes the plunge into the Mortal Kombat 1 fight. The next in the line of DLC characters and based on the version from the hit TV show, NetherRealm Studios is fully bringing the DC character to life and keeping the fun that was made there with it. Not only in look but with John Cena offering the voice and many things pulled just from the show. If this is the character you have been waiting for, then know Peacemaker will be in Mortal Kombat 1 on March 6th with an Early Access for the character on February 28th. Get ready to dole out some peace.
In addition to Peacemaker leaping Mortal Kombat 1, we are also getting Janet Cage in the game as a Kameo character we can use. This would be an alternate version of Johnny that was in the game but will now be able to be called upon as we fight. It is definitely fitting for the showcase of Peacemaker but is an interesting one to get moved up to someone we can use in Mortal Kombat 1. Although we might have to wait a little bit further into March to be able to add Janet to our roster, we can have a look at how she will be aiding others in the following trailer for both of these characters we have named here.
Mortal Kombat 1 — Peacemaker Gameplay
Eat peace, Motherfuckers!
Peacemaker comes to Mortal Kombat 1 Early Access on February 28, and Full Release on March 6. Janet Cage joins the Kameo roster later in March.
It’s In Our Blood. Discover a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe created by Fire God Liu Kang. Mortal Kombat 1 ushers in a new era of the iconic franchise with a new fighting system, game modes, and Fatalities!
Peacemaker was one of the characters I was excited and surprised to see in Mortal Kombat 1. This is why I am glad to see that it does not look as if they sacrificed anything for the character from the show. I am a little curious to see if the full dance sequence from the show will be in the game in some manner, or if it will change with the upcoming season, but it is a great sign of things. It is something that will get me back into the Mortal Kombat mindset, that is for sure. Not to mention the look for the next big DLC character I have been looking to get into the fight here with Homelander. The one that will most likely be the final of this pack of characters.
What are your thoughts on Peacemaker joining in for Mortal Kombat 1 in this form and will we have more nods to the show than we thought? Did you expect to see Janet Cage in the mix of the Kameos or does it just make sense for this now? Should there be a Friendship ending where Peacemaker gets everyone to do the show's iconic dance? Fight it all out in the comment section below and let the discussion of it all flow. We will share more for Mortal Kombat 1 as we get more to share. Please keep an eye on the site for all of those updates and the many others we have in the works as of right now.
