Sand Land
The gameplay for Sand Land is starting to slip on out there with a look at our Uniride we will have in Sand Land
There has been a whole lot of the story for Sand Land out there when it comes to the video game, and here we go with some actual gameplay to take in. Some gameplay that shows off the world, creatures we will be facing, and the vehicle we will be doing that from. Bandai Namco is giving us all a little bit of Christmas early it would seem. Even if it is short and some of us would rather like to know when Sand Land will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Beggars and choosers situation once again. Let us ignore that, though, and just dig into the gameplay we have been given thus far.
This new footage for Sand Land places us right in the mix of the world while riding around on our Uniride in the game. This is a single-rider hover vehicle that has been decked out with all manner of weaponry for us to use. All while gliding about the dunes and dodging all of the attacks of the enemies out there. Enemies that look to be a mix of Pterodactyls and Crocodiles, more or less. They are larger than average, so there will be a bit of a challenge out there in Sand Land, but something just is a bit off seeing these creatures in an area devoid of water. There has to be a solid explanation for all of that in the story…
Sand Land — Uniride Gameplay
A new trailer of Sand Land shows more about this world turned into a scorching desert, where the greed of the King makes life impossible for its inhabitants by controlling access to water. Sheriff Rao strongly believes another oasis, capable of ending the terrible drought, is here somewhere…
In order to find this Legendary Spring, Rao knows he cannot undertake this dangerous journey alone and travels to the Demon Village to seek help. With the consent of the King of Demons, Beelzebub the Friend Prince and his chaperone Thief join Sheriff Rao on their thirstiest adventure ever, searching the world for this life-saving spring.
As they progress in their journey, the group realizes they shouldn’t let their guard down as heat and thirst are not their only enemies. General Are, accompanied by the Royal Army, will pursue Beelzebub and his companions around the world and try to stop them.
Sand Land is set to release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
I truly hope that this is not how all of the combat in Sand Land is going to boil down to when the game does land. This looks like all we have to do is keep scooting around while spamming the 'fire' button and making sure we do not overheat out there. Something that does not even look difficult from the footage we have to look at here. I am fairly certain our hero did not even get hit once and even used a smoke grenade just for fun. That could be fun to do for a little bit, I just hope there is more of a challenge or we only get the Uniride later in Sand Land with this being a showing of how it can handle basic enemies easier with tougher fights saved for the full title.
How do you feel about Sand Land and the combat based on what you have to see here today? Do you think that this will be a challenging title or will this make the game a breeze for so many out there? Is this just later in the game and a nice highlight to show off how easy things will be once we get leveled up or could this be the first vehicle we get and things just get easier from there? Drive on into the comment section below to let us all know what you are thinking and then discuss. There is more to come for Sand Land, so please keep on checking out our site for all of those updates and many, many more.
