The Ninth Legion Is On The March Towards Us In King Arthur: Legion IX

King Arthur

The King Arthur story is getting expanded further with the cinematic reveal of King Arthur: Legion IX on the way to us soon

It looks as if the undead are on the way to another story with King Arthur: Legion IX getting a nice little reveal out there for us. This is not a wholly new title but an expansion to another that NeocoreGames has out there. A little title called King Arthur: Knight’s Tale. Maybe you have heard and played it or maybe you are just getting into it now that you see some new darkness on the way to a world. No matter the case, in 2024, this new expansion is on the way to the PC when it is ready. Presumably, it will head to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version of the game too, but this is what we have listed as of this new reveal we have to share with the world.

In this new story, it looks like we get to play as the Ninth Legion back from the underworld and heading out into the world of King Arthur. A weird take, but one that looks like it will be a bit of fun to have. We are going to get some new heroes for the game, some new combat mechanics, new enemies, and a larger party to do all of this with in the game. Not too shabby, even if we do not get to see any of that as of yet. The dead take a little time to get back up to speed, so all we have is that information and the new cinematic trailer for King Arthur: Legion IX to go on for now. You can spot all of that a little lower down and then get ready to explore how this is going to shake things up for Arthurian mythology.

King Arthur: Legion IX — Cinematic Reveal

If thinking about the Roman Empire isn't enough… now you can experience leading a Roman campaign!

Players will experience the Roman campaign through the eyes of a tribune of the Ninth Legion, who has been tasked with locating and launching an assault on Avalon — leading an elite team of daemon legionnaires.

New heroes, foes, combat mechanics, and a larger party are just some of the features provided in this challenging expansion.

The base game King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a modern retelling of a classic Arthurian mythology story told with dark fantasy tropes, a twist on the traditional tales of chivalry.

In the King Arthur: Legion IX expansion, the kingdom of Avalon is facing an all-new threat, as the Roman Ninth Legion has discovered a path to the mystical island, and is preparing an invasion. Players will experience the brand new Roman campaign through the eyes of a tribune of the Ninth Legion, and they will uncover the remains of a Roman colony in Avalon and reveal the hidden secrets of the Lady of the Lake.

I have yet to be able to play King Arthur: Knight’s Tale, so it is a little difficult to get hyped up for this, but I can see why many out there would. I mean, we get to experience the game with a legion of the dead fresh out of Tartarus and on the hunt for more death. That will always catch my eye here. I will have to wait and see what exactly King Arthur: Legion IX is going to expand into the new world we have to make the final leap, but this video does give some great ideas about all of that. Then again, most cinematic trailers are here just to do that and can leave many of us high on the hype train only to be let down once the actual game or DLC drops out there. All things to keep in mind before getting too excited for it all.

Have you had a chance to explore King Arthur: Knight’s Tale and have been waiting for this expansion? Do you think it will come to the consoles the core game has released on or will it only be for the PC? Do you have anything that can be dropped into a video game that will grab your eye right out of the gate? Tell us all of that and everything else on your mind down in the comment section. We will share more for King Arthur: Legion IX once we have more to share. Please keep on checking back for all of that and everything else we have to muster up around here and into the end of the year. 2024 should be a bigger one out there, with any luck.
