Invincible
The release date for The Invincible is set so all gamers will have a chance to experience the story of The Invincible
We have a launch date now for The Invincible and it looks as if we are only going to have to wait a few more months for the game to land on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A few more months as is in Starward Industries is looking to drop the game out there on November 6th of this year. I do not know why we needed to add that part, but it felt needed for this launch. Maybe it is due to the fact that some of us have been able to play The Invincible in a demo form for a little while now. All of that aside, we have a release date for the game and can now get excited to see that all come to light.
Those that have not been up on The Invincible up to now, we will be taking on the role of Yasna who is an astrobiologist that has been forced out to search for a lost crew. A lost crew that is missing on an eerie planet that also seems to have a lot of other horrible things going on in the background too. Thankfully, this is a mission where they can be brought back dead or alive, so there is not much of a worry outside of personal morals that will hold us to it all. That and the gameplay story in The Invincible will keep us out there searching instead of just saying they could not be found after us all "noping" out of the planet at the first sight of weirdness.
The Invincible — Release Date
11 bit studios and Starward Industries are excited for players around the globe to find out what the cosmos has prepared for them on November 6th, 2023 when The Invincible releases on PC and current-gen consoles. A hard sci-fi game with a mind-bending narrative, The Invincible will make players rethink humanity's urge to conquer space and remind themselves that not everything, everywhere is for us.
The Invincible puts players in the role of Yasna, a sharp-tongued astrobiologist forced to search for her crew and bring them back “dead or alive” as a perilous mission to the eerie planet Regis III takes an awry turn. On the surface, it may seem that Regis III is uninhabited but that doesn't mean the people who visit here can feel like unopposed rulers. The philosophical nature of the events on Regis III will make Yasna forever question the scale of humankind's ambitions.
I know I joke about that in The Invincible with the story, but having played the demo, it does look like it is a deep and intriguing title to explore out there. One that I am glad to see will not be on the year-long waiting list to get into my hands. I would find it interesting if the team did leave an option to just turn around and say we did not find the crew out there, but just leave that as a secret ending of sorts. November 6th is not as far away as we think, though, so we will not need to wait too long to see if that will be the case in The Invincible in general. I really hope it is an option.
Were you hoping to see The Invincible sooner than this or does this all feel about right based on what we had before? Do you think we will get that kind of secret ending or should that kind of gag be left to other developers not telling as deep of a story? Will we have one more demo out there for the game before the launch or will we just have to keep at the one we do have for now? Head into the comment section below and let us all know your thoughts about all of this. We will offer up anything more we have for The Invincible as we get it all, so please keep on checking in for all of those updates and many others.
