Greyhill Incident
A new mode for Greyhill Incident will be coming for those of us out there who so choose to pick up Greyhill Incident
There is still a bit of time before the launch of Greyhill Incident on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC and yet here we are with more modes getting added in well before the launch. A new mode that will be offered up for those that pick up the Digital and Abduction Edition of the game. So, pretty much all of the options that Refugium Games is putting out there on June 9th for the game. A nice little thing to know as we will see a new ‘Found Footage’ mode in Greyhill Incident right out the gate. Just one more way to enjoy what the aliens will be doing to the human race out there in this title.
Details for this new mode coming in Greyhill Incident are not overly specific, so we are just making a few assumptions here based on the trailer and what we do have to go on. Which, as it looks, will add in a new filter over the events of the game to make it feel like videos we found instead of events we play through. It could be something different when Greyhill Incident launches, but this is what I have been able to gather from the following trailer and description. It would be interesting to see if this is a mode that will help explain away some of the gameplay elements, like death, by using a rewind function but I think it will be just a new way to look at the game and not anything massive like that.
Greyhill Incident — Found Footage Mode
Perp Games and Refugium Games are excited to announce that purchasers of the digital and physical Abducted Edition of Greyhill Incident will be able to play the whole game using the ‘Found Footage’ mode.
Greyhill Incident will release digitally and physically on the 9th of June 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
What do you think this new mode for Greyhill Incident will entail and will it be more than a screen filter? Could we be seeing a way to replay certain parts of the game to explain away why our character did not die or get abducted or will is it just an extra grain to add some realism? Could this also just be a way to rewatch your gameplay after you complete the game or a way to watch the events without the need to control anything? Let us have all of those thoughts down in the comments and then let the discussion run rampant out there. For more on Greyhill Incident, please keep a close eye on the site for all of that. More is on the way as we gear up for the official launch.
