A new 'summer' trailer has been released for Space Hulk: Deathwing coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC If you have an illness and the only cure is more space marines then look no further than Space Hulk: Deathwing. This is the latest in the Space Hulk franchise, at least in the video game world, and it definitely looks like it is going to have a cure for that illness. As if there weren't already enough of those franchises coming out later this year or in 2015 but different stokes for different folks I guess. You can take that phrase in whatever way you want but I meant it in the most Puritanical way that I know. Read More...

Pre-PAX East Speculations

With PAX East less than a week away let's get a look at everything going down this coming weekend. Firstly, we have the recently re-announced Saints Row 4 from Volition and their new owners Deep Silver. Nothing about this game aside from the release date and a fluff trailer has been shown. What do you expect from the newest installment of the Saints franchise? Personally I expect the game to be even more insane, with hopefully a deeper customization, as I felt Saints Row III pulled back a bit from we had in Saints Row II. When I spoke with the developers from Arcen Games at PAX East last April, they had said they loved the old 2D actioners like Super Metroid, Castlevania and so on. E3 2012 Hands On: Neverwinter

Talk about another title that wasn't on my radar until I got a chance to sit down and actually have some good hands on with. The title in the instance is Neverwinter. Another attempt at making the perfect version of Dungeons&Dragons into an interactive video game. In this attempt though, I feel that they are just about spot on with what I was able to play. Just as a heads up, I was only able to get handsie with the Wizard class, although it felt more like a Sorcerer. The first thing I have to say that impressed me was the fact that the game deviates from the "tab" based combat system and takes on a very active based one. Read More...

AT&T Crediting Players To Join Xbox Live In November

If you read our previous article about XBox Live and Its new TV streaming service then you already know that and XBox Live Gold account will be required to access most of these new features. Well in a screen shot today submitted by a reader over at GiantBomb AT&T U-verse is actually crediting users who want to use the XBox Live feature the cost of a single year's subscription. A little out of character for AT&T but hey I'll take what I can get. The big deal here is that AT&T U-verse was available to all Silver members and will now require a Gold membership to partake in all the entertainment features. Read More...

Borderlands 2 Game Play Footage

So I was surfing around YouTube and came across this amazing fourteen minute long sneak peak of Borderlands 2. Just watching the first five minutes I was blown away by the unprecedented amount of changes to the game; Completely revamped menu system that is all in-world and amazing improvements of enemy AI, they actually climb walls and jump over gaps to get to you. Neverwinter's New E3 Trailer

I haven't had much luck with Dungeons and Dragons games lately, but for some reason I am still really excited for Neverwinter. The last time I talked about Neverwinter was in August of last year. At that time, all we had was a place holder website and a few comments from Cryptic Studios. We finally get our first look at Dungeons and Dragons: Neverwinter at E3 this year, and I can say one thing for sure - it looks like Dungeons and Dragons. So there you have it, another Dungeons and Dragons title by Atari. Atari, and Cryptic Studios, the team that brought you City of Heroes, Champions Online and the latest Star Trek Online have announced that they are developing the latest title in the Neverwinter genre for the PC called "Neverwinter." Neverwinter will be an online RPG based on the Wizards of the Coast city of Neverwinter. Once a bustling location, Neverwinter has faced a great many disasters in the past hundred years. With Mobile gaming on the rise, and new technologies emerging from console makers these days it was no surprise to see Microsoft announce XBox LIVE connectivity with the new Windows Phone 7 software. Unlike Windows Mobile 6.1 and higher, this is aimed at a more social experience by increasing communication across a multitude of carriers and phones. Windows Phone 7 will be available (unlike the iPhone) on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and HTC phones.
