New Screenshots & Concept Art For Left Alive Are Here
by Julia Thompson [ Monday, 25th of September 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Left Alive No new details for Left Alive are out there, but there are a few new bits of art for Left Alive to go over after TGS Now that TGS is over, I know I was hoping to get to see or hear more for Left Alive as it looked interesting but had very little in way of details to go along with the announcement. The artistic direction that the game looks to have is top notch, but as it seems Square Enix's way as of late, there was not much in terms of how the game will play or even the genre type of gameplay that we will be experiencing directly. It looks easy to assume that we will have some Metal Gear style of play based on the people working on Left Alive and the announcement trailer that was placed out there, but nothing has been set down. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Left Alive New title, Left Alive, has been officially announced and it looks like Left Alive aims to take us on a robotic apocalypse in the future…of sorts Unless you have been under a rock for the last few days, then you may have heard that Square Enix was teasing a new title called Left Alive out at TGS. They posted a teaser for the teaser video earlier on and gave a very small blurb about what is going on with the game. Not too much at all besides a few of the names behind the development and character design that will be working on Left Alive. Read More...

At least if they are playing Guitar Hero Live via the console version of the game and not any of the other umpteen options that we were all given back when Activision brought the game back into our lives again. To gain access to the Shred-A-Thon for Guitar Hero Live all you have to do is access the third channel in your GHTV list and it will start right up. Read More...

Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes another week in video games; albeit a shorter one. With all of the Thanksgiving and Black Friday mess coming up we have decided to allow everyone a reprieve from the work and to allow them to enjoy all of their video games. Guitar Hero Live and Rock Band 4 have some great stuff in the works for these holidays so there is always that. Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games So much news in the world of video games here and so much more to come. I think we'll have a lot more as Blizzcon rolls out and we lead into the heavier part of the release season but it is a fickle industry. Especially when there are such great hidden gems like the Black Ops 3 Nightmare mode that was hidden from us all. That and the new Friday The 13th visuals that have just made their way into the world of video games here. Read More...

Review â Guitar Hero Live
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of November 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live We Sit Down And Review Guitar Hero Live. Things Have Been Changed Up Quite A Bit This Time Around To Make The Franchise Feel New; But Does It Pay Off? Here's Our Review Of Guitar Hero Live Looks like the rhythm game is trying to make a comeback and now we have the other main competitor in the way of Guitar Hero Live. This franchise is one of the ones that made the whole genre as popular as it has become over the years, even with its short hiatus, and FreeStyleGames is bringing it back to try and bring new life into the franchise. Not only is it a new game with, technically, new songs but Guitar Hero Live adds in a few new features and mechanics to said genre but do they help or hinder in the long run? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/5/15 â 10/9/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 07:02 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There goes another week in video games in the bag. Or case if you will. Things were all over the place this week and there were so many 'leaks' out there in the world of video games. I'm looking in the direction of Street Fighter V here and a bit at Star Wars Battlefront. Although the beta is out for the latter here so it's not really leaked any more. The first still very much so. Read More...

12 More Classic Songs Join The Guitar Hero Live Track List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 03:01 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live Twelve more tracks have been added to Guitar Hero Live and while not all classics songs they are coming to Guitar Hero Live from past titles in the franchise Time to make the track list for Guitar Hero Live a not so round number of 121 now as we have twelve more tracks to add to the list today. Quite a hefty starting catalog for FreeStyleGames to get in there and I'll take it. Especially since these new Guitar Hero Live tracks have all been pulled from previous Guitar Hero titles that Activision still has the rights to. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/7/15 â 9/11/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of September 2015 - 07:14 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It has been a shorter week in the video games world here but that still doesn't mean we didn't get to what we could. It did allow for us to play catch-up on all of those video games we had sitting around or just launched here recently. Only now we get to look forward to titles like Rock Band 4, Hellblade, and The Wither 3's DLC that are all coming. At least based on all of the video games we had to cover this week even though, like I said, it was shortened by the most recent American holiday and we took a break to play some video games.
