Review â Dead Island Remaster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Dead Island We sit down and review Dead Island Remaster. The old title has been revamped up for the new systems with all the bells and whistles. Here's our review of Dead Island Remaster It's been almost five years since Dead Island first came out on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. In my opinion this is what started Techland off on the road to making some amazing zombie games and now it has been remastered and bundled together by Deep Silver for the PS4, and Xbox One. All of the usual remastered items being added into the mix here for Dead Island to keep us all playing it further and possibly stepping away from the other titles we have out there currently. Thankfully we had the chance to give this remaster a whirl and here is our review of the Dead Island remaster. Read More...

Let The 16-Bit Blood Flow In Dead Island Retro Revenge
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Dead Island The first trailer for Dead Island Retro Revenge has been released and shows us that little extra we'll be getting in the Dead Island Definitive Collection If Dead Island Retro Revenge doesn't sound overly familiar then you may not have been paying attention to the latest Definite Collection that has been announced. That would be one for the titular franchise that Deep Silver is having all polished up for us and releasing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 31st. You know, the Dead Island Definitive Collection and all. Read More...

New Dead Facts & Visual Updates For The Dead Island Definitive Collection
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Dead Island Some new bits of gameplay for the Dead Island Definitive Collection have been shown off and it shows the great visual upgrades for Dead Island and Riptide that we will get to experience soon We've had some nice new screenshots for the Dead Island Definitive Collection to see just how the upgrades have come along for the game but now it's time to see it all in practice. That is to say that we have some new gameplay footage for the remastered titles to spy upon here from Deep Silver to get us all pumped up for the games inside to land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this May 31st. Hopefully just in time to get us all settled and ready for a possible Dead Island 2 update of some sorts but that could still be a bit of a ways off…sadly… Of course this isn't much of a how to play the game kind of trailer but more of an accolades trailer to show off why we need to pick up the Dead Island Definitive Collection but at least there is a fair amount of gameplay with the high resolution textures and characters running around. Prepare For More Zombies As The Dead Island Definitive Collection Is Coming
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of April 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Dead Island New screenshots for the Dead Island Definitive Collection have dropped showing off how the upgrades to Dead Island and Riptide are looking for us Just over a month now and the Dead Island Definitive Collection will be releasing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC for all of those who missed out before to give the games that put Techland on the map a go. I'm not talking in any kind of backwards capability form either as Deep Silver has footed the bill to get the two big titles to play natively. That would be Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide for those who have become lost in all of the hullabaloo up until now. Read More...

Dead Island 2 Has A New Developer Taking The Charge
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of March 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Dead Island 2 Dead Island 2 has a new developer and looks to be back in full swing without any of the compromises listed for the original Dead Island 2 developers being used Maybe you remember last July when it was announced that Dead Island 2 was losing its developer. All over creative differences and compromises that Deep Silver didn't want to make to the franchise that YAGER couldn't get around. Since then there hasn't been much word on the status of Dead Island 2 and all we've seen recently is that Dead Island and Riptide are getting the HD move to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Thankfully today I get to inform you that Sumo Digital has stepped up to make DI2 a reality. Read More...

Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There goes another fun week in video games in the bag now. Again it had its high and its lows but we made it through. Of course that did mean that we had to watch as Uncharted 4 got hit with yet another delay and only a few sparse details for Vampyr. It did also mean that we got to see more cool kills for Friday The 13th: The Game and a huge collector's edition for Homefront: the Revolution get announced. Like I said, it had its highs and it had its lows. Read More...

Dead Island The rumors were true as Dead Island Definitive Collection has been announced and will be bringing the original Dead Island titles to the current gen systems Here we go with another rumor that proved to be true as the Dead Island Definitive Collection has been announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Rumors of this bundle started to pop up a while ago but then there was no word from Deep Silver on any validity to it all. There Is A Longer Wait For Dead Island 2 As It's Been Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of April 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
Sad news as Dead Island 2 has been delayed due to unreleased reasons but to make Dead Island 2 a better game You can't tell me you are all that shocked to hear that Dead Island 2 has been delayed here. The original release schedule put it on task to be released Spring of 2015 and since that is about to come to a close and we haven't had much in the way of updates since August of last year it would seem that Deep Silver or Yager were going to make this announcement sometime soon. Sadly though that announcement is today as Dead Island 2 has been pushed back to a 2016 release instead of a 2015 release. There must be so much going on over there since it wasn't just pushed back to later this year but then again Dead Island 2 did sound like quite the undertaking before. Read More...

You most likely don't know what PC stands for if you couldn't catch what that acronym meant BTW. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of November 2014 - 03:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Escape Dead Island. It is a new spin on the Dead Island franchise all to expand the franchise but does it? None The Less Here Is Our Review The time is upon us to try and Escape Dead Island. No not to try and escape the need for the franchise but to actually play through and hopefully enjoy Fatshark's new take on the Dead Island franchise and to give us a bridge until the next major sequel to the core franchise hits our gaming shelves. Do Deep Silver and Fatshark have a great title for us on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC or is the cell shading style just as dead as the zombies we need to escape from. Here's what I have to say in my review of Escape Dead Island. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 11/10/14 â 11/14/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of November 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes week one in the insanity of video game releases. We've had a plethora of titles just drop and many more in the coming weeks leading up to December. Hells, we even had two reviews this week for #killallzombies and Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare here and have yet to even scratch the surface of all the titles that have been causing a stir in the video game industry. Yes, that is a slight jab at Assassin's Creed there but we'll leave the heavy stuff for all of those other outlets who can trash talk and not worried about getting black balled in the industry. Moving on to what we did have here though in the way of video game news. Read More...

A new stealth gameplay clip for Escape Dead Island has been released from Deep Silver and Fatshark Games as we lead up to the release date Escape Dead Island releases next week on November 18th for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Just like the following gameplay clip for the game that date kind of snuck up on us didn't it? It did for me as I could have sworn that we just had the announcement for the game and first looks only a few months ago. Way to creep up on us there and give us all a nice creeper title to give us another bit of fun over the video game launch two weeks. Read More...
