Hide And Shriek Has Gone Free To Play Just In Time For Halloween
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of October 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Hide And Shriek Just in time for Halloween Hide And Shriek, the jump-scare multiplayer game, has gone free to play so get out there and Hide And Shriek If you think back to last Halloween, you may remember the title Hide And Shriek getting a little release out there for PC on Steam. It was a little title that was a One Vs One multiplayer title all about fear that Funcom put out there while working on all of their other titles that have come out since. The may premise of Hide And Shriek is that you and your opponent are in a closed location and your goal is to get as many jump-scares pulled off on your opponent through traps, sneaking around, or any other tactics you can think of. All to get the most points and "frighten" them to death. Read More...

Be Careful With Your Little Eyes With What Outlast 2 Lets You See
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 New trailers for Outlast 2 have been released to show just how creep Outlast 2 is going to be as well as how the Trinity bundle will look Gods the wait for Outlast 2 has been a rough one. At least it has been for me as I've been super hyped on the franchise since the first time Red Barrels brought the original to us and then followed up with the Whistleblower DLC. It's been a fun four years for the franchise and now on April 25th Outlast 2 will be hitting our PS4, Xbox One, and PC to continue the horror train for us all. In a new setting and theme of terror, but still somehow in the same vein of it all. Read More...

Outlast 2 Has Now Been Classified In Australia Without Any Edits
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 It looks like Outlast 2 will be releasing in Australia afterall as Outlast 2 has now been given a classification of R18+ by the reviewing board Here's a bit of good news out there just in case you weren't having a good day. It looks like Outlast 2 will be releasing down in Australia now as the ratings board down there has given the game a classification of R18+. This comes a week after were first caught wind that they refused to give the game a rating due to some of the graphic things that Red Barrels had in the game; particularly one scene. But the worry is now over as it has been resolved and now we all get to see and experience Outlast 2 on April 25th. Read More...

Try To Stay Safe And Dry As Narcosis Set In Here Real Soon
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 20th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Narcosis A new trailer for Narcosis has released for all to look at as we wait for Narcosis to launch on its many platforms in a little over a week It's been one long trip but it looks like we are almost there as Narcosis finally launches on March 28th here. What once started as a student project has budded up into the debut of Honor Code's first title for the Xbox One, PC, and Oculus. Not too shabby at all and that is apparently not all of the platforms for Narcosis as it is still listed as coming to "other platforms" but by now a good portion of us all know how that can be. It can be rough to get things through verification for those who don't know. Read More...

Rumors Are Out There That Evil Within 2 Is In Development
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Evil Within 2 Rumors have started that The Evil Within 2 is in development based on a recent job posting for Q/A to work on The Evil Within 2 or Psycho Break 2 in Japan The rumor mill is churning as it looks like hints that The Evil Within 2, or Psycho Break 2 if you wish, is currently in development and at the point where they are looking for QA people. At least this is all to be believed from a recent, unconfirmed, private job listing over there for Tango Gameworks that has found its way online and then screen captured for all to see. The bigger thing giving this new rumor for The Evil Within 2 much of its merit currently is that Bethesda has already teased some big titles for the year and that Tango has claimed it wanted to make this a franchise and not just a one-off title. Outlast 2 Has Been Refused Classification In Australia For Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 Australians may not be seeing Outlast 2 at launch as it looks like Outlast 2 has been refused classification of even a R18+ rating by the censors We just had the release date for Outlast 2 given out and it was assumed to be a world-wide release on April 25th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Now, as it looks, the game may not be making said release date but only for those who live down in Australia where the Classification Board, think ESRB of sorts, has refused to give Red Barrels' new title even the rating of R18+. Outlast 2 is not the first game to do this, but this is the first we are hearing about it happening for this game. Read More...

ARK: Survival Evolved Is Going Virtual With Newly Announced ARK Park
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
ARK Park A new VR experience is coming with ARK Park as it will expand on aspects of the core title that ARK Park's VR would only be able to deliver to us all We've seen a few VR experiences that give us a feel for Jurassic Park but it looks like we are going to be getting a solid on here with ARK Park in 2017. At least a version that does what the original parks were intending to do without all of the crazy need to not be killed by dinosaur's aspect of it all. I guess Snail Games is going to leave all of that to ARK: Survival Evolved given that ARK Park is based in the same game universe and all about the fun experiences and not the dread of having to outrun all of those horrible beasts. Let's Go Predator Mode With The Latest Update For Last Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of November 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Last Year A new update for Last Year has been put out there and it shows off some new gameplay for Last Year as well as one of the killer's abilities in the game If we hop back in the "Way Back Machine" again you might remember a title we found called Last Year. This was back in December of 2014 for those who don't remember and it seemed to have a lot of similarities between it and the official Friday The 13th game that we are looking forward to. In fact, back then it was a hot topic between all parties given the similarities but none the less Last Year was still in the works after all of the dust had settled. We just hadn't heard much about this 5v1 multiplayer game since then even though it had reached twice its funding request on Kickstarter. Read More...

Hide And Shriek Is Going To Make You The Master Of The Jump Scare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of October 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Hide And Shriek The first gameplay for Hide And Shriek has been released and now we can see just how Hide And Shriek matches will play out later this October Earlier in the month we saw a new horror game announced called Hide And Shriek. It's a new one on one multiplayer title coming from Funcom and that was more or less about the extent of what we knew. Well outside of the goal of Hide And Shriek being to scare each other until there is a defined winner and a defined user. Well now we know a bit more and it is just in time as the game launches on Steam for PC on October 25th and we do need to see how the game plays before making our final judgement. Read More...

Outlast 2 Is Kind Of Here Now For The Halloween Season
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 While Outlast 2 may still be a few months out, you can give the Outlast 2 demo a play just in time for Halloween To Hit If you were like me then I know you were hoping that Outlast 2 would have made a miraculous showing during the month of fear. I know that Red Barrels had their reasons to push the game off until Q1 of 2017 but that doesn't change the fact that we all wanted something scary for our PS4, Xbox One, or PC during this month. Which is why I am here with some good news as it looks like we all have a way to play Outlast 2 during October here even though it may not be how you were hoping it would be. Beggars can't be choosers so we'll have to take what we can here. Read More...

Get Ready To Hide And Shriek With This New Horror Multiplayer Title
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of October 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Hide And Shriek A new horror multiplayer title, Hide And Shriek, has been announced and Hide And Shriek has you dealing out all of the horror and not the developers If you were wondering where all of the good horror games where this month then let me introduce you to Hide And Shriek. This is a new multiplayer horror title in the works just for Halloween from Funcom. You know, the ones who brought us The Park last year and now want to keep the horror flowing with Hide And Shriek this year on the PC; even though the two titles are not linked in any other way outside of the developers and platform. If nothing though it is a new horror title to get added into the month of fear where things do seem to be a bit lacking this year in general. Read More...

Outlast 2 Won't Be Making It In Time For The Month Of Fear
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of August 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 It looks like Outlast 2 has been hit with delays and we won't be seeing Outlast 2 this October but sometime next year Looks like some sad news has been added into the mix as it looks like Outlast 2 is going to be delayed until Q1 of 2017. This is never the news you want to get for your game but here it is none the less right from Red Barrels' social feeds. Although to be fair Outlast 2 never had a set date before now outside of October. Ideally this would have been perfect for a horror game but as it seems most of the horror titles end up in February instead of during the traditional month of terror. Read More...

Review â The Park
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of May 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
The Park We sit down and review The Park. This is another narrative driven experience with basis in Funcom's other great IPs. Here's our review of The Park While The Park released last October on the PC it has finally made the jump over the PS4 and Xbox One to make sure everyone could have the narrative experience that they put together. An experience that looks to stem off from some of the amazing darkness that Funcom has already placed in The Secret World. Now that it has hopped over to consoles we had a chance to give The Park a fun play through and see just how intense this horror experience is. Read More...
