Review â Batman: The Telltale Series â New World Order
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of November 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Batman We sit down and review Batman: The Telltale Series — New World Order. This is the third episode of Telltale's take on the Batman franchise. Here's our review on how they did So far each episode of Batman: The Telltale Series has been something insane and exciting. At least the first two have been and now here we have the third episode in the mix. Usually at this point in a season we are in for something truly over the top from Telltale Games in terms of the story. At least that is how their stories usually go and it looks like Batman here should be going along the same path. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site This has sure been one intense week in video games now hasn't it? Full of so many teases and then a few new announcements and reveals. We're looking at you Red Dead Redemption 2. That was definitely the big one all week but also the Nintendo Switch getting an announcement and release window and then more on Resident Evil 7 and Final Fantasy XV. It seems we can't have a good week in video games without those two getting some kind of update now can we? Read More...

Review â Aragami
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Aragami We sit down and review Aragami. A new stealth ninja game that has a slaying from the shadows again Here's our review of Aragami It's always fun when games sneak out on us and it is even more fun when games like Aragami do just that as that is part of the gameplay. The stealth part and not the sneaking out without notice. None the less Lince Works has brought us this new stealth ninja game and we've had the chance to give it a nice little play through. Aragami brings us some great classic gameplay from titles like it as well as a new little story to have fun with. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And thus completes our week in video games. Well more the week in news and updates about games but I'm sure you get the point by now. We've been all over the place here again as we had some amazing updates for Friday The 13th and Battlefield 1. We also were able to see how fast both Hitman and King's Quest could be on getting out their next and final episodes and that is not to exclude the fact that Batman is getting another so quick as well. All kinds of great updates for our video games even if some of them seemed to be a bit basic in the end. Read More...

Review â King's Quest: Snow Place Like Home
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
King's Quest We sit down and review King's Quest: Snow Place Like Home. This is the fourth episode of The Odd Gentlemen's reboot to the famed franchise from Sierra Entertainment. Here's our review of King's Quest: Snow Place Like Home It's been about five months since the last episode of King's Quest was released so it seems like it was about time to get the next episode in the mix. Right? Of course it was and that is why The Odd Gentlemen and Sierra Entertainment have just recently released the fourth episode of the game for all of us to play. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/26/16 â 9/30/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games One more week in the world of video games is in the bag yet again. Oddly this week started out a bit slow on the news side of things and then it seemed like everything exploded onto the scene shortly after. We had plenty of Mafia 3 to cover yet again and other, smaller video games like Sundered and Here They Lie get mixed into it all. Not to mention a review for the latest episode of Batman from Telltale. Read More...

Review â Minecraft: Story Mode â A Journey's End?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of September 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — A Journey's End?. This is the final episode of Telltale's take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did He we go with the final leg of Minecraft: Story Mode as the eight episode of the IP has been released and we can see how this story is finally going to end. It has been one trek for us with Telltale Games and Mojang's franchise as we were given a story to a game that generally doesn't have one set up. Even with all of the Minecraft celebrities and all that there hasn't been one concise story until now. Read More...

Review â Batman: The Telltale Series â Children Of Arkham
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of September 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Batman We sit down and review Batman: The Telltale Series — Children Of Arkham. This is the second episode of Telltale's take on the Batman franchise. Here's our review on how they did The time has come and the second episode of Batman: The Telltale Series is here and we get to see if the momentum from the first episode keeps going or not. Telltale Games did knock it out of the part with the first episode for me but with the chance that the story could change drastically or the gameplay could falter at any episode there is a chance. None the less this should be when all hell breaks loose in the story and builds toward the true climax in some way just as all Batman comics, games, and films usually do by this point. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/19/16 â 9/23/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Thus concludes our week of video games. Another solid week and not so many bad bits of news and delays. Of course that doesn't mean it was all happy and bouncy but in the world of video games that never seems the case. Thankfully we had some solid things like a new Jason and Counselor for Friday The 13th, the next episode of King's Quest finally coming, and all of the death dealing coming to Dishonored 2. A lot of videos and a lot of fun for the week and just the way it needs to be as we press on into the review season here. Read More...

Review â The Bunker
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of September 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
The Bunker We sit down and review The Bunker. It has a new and dark take on the point and click genre. Here's our review of The Bunker We caught wind of The Bunker not that long ago but it definitely piqued our interest over here with the creep factor as well as the fun twist on the point-and-click genre of game. While Splendy Games isn't breaking new ground on using live actors for the visuals and gameplay, it is something that we don't usually get. Not only that but Wales Interactive helped take The Bunker out to a real world bunker to capture all of the performances and interactions to make sure it felt authentic. Read More...

Review â Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of September 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Deus Ex We sit down and review Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The franchise has had time to be "augmented" since the last addition. Here's our review of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided It's been five years since the last title came out and now we get to continue the whole story in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Of course it's not completely the same old story or Adam we've seen before or there would be no reason for us to pick up Eidos-Montreal's new title and Square Enix would be out a whole lot of money; so there is a lot to look at and enjoy. Thankfully, we had a chance to give Deus Ex: Mankind Divided a solid play and now we are here to give you our thoughts on it all. Here's our review of the next big addition to the franchise. It's time for our next big trip with Hitman and this time it off to Bangkok for some murderous fun. Io Interactive has place two more marks on the map and we are off to make sure they never see the light of day again. All in a fun setting of a fancy hotel in the exotic lands here. Just like every other episode of Hitman we are given many options to go about it and here we go with how the Square Enix franchise has progressed. Read More...

Review â Marvel Ultimate Alliance [PS4]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 31st of August 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Marvel Ultimate Alliance We sit down and review Marvel Ultimate Alliance. It's been a decade since it first came out & has been remastered. Here's our review of Marvel Ultimate Alliance A long time ago we were all introduced to Marvel Ultimate Alliance on the PS2. A game at the time was one of the best that Raven Software had pumped out to us through Activision and thus started a decent partnership for Marvel titles to be done by this publisher. Now we jump forward about a decade and Marvel Ultimate Alliance has been remastered and made to work on the PS4 and Xbox One. We had a chance to check it out and see if the game holds up over the years or if it is something that you should hold out on. Read More...

Review â Layers Of Fear: Inheritance
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear We Sit Down And Review Layers Of Fear: Inheritance. We have a new bit of story DLC for a great horror game now. Here's Our Review Of Layers Of Fear: Inheritance Almost a year ago we were all introduced to a full version of Layers Of Fear and some of us regained a love for fear and horror. If not then, then when Bloober Team and Aspyr Media released the game on the PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year. It was fun and had some great jumps to it all but I know I was left wanting more.
