Review â The Bunker
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of September 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
The Bunker We sit down and review The Bunker. It has a new and dark take on the point and click genre. Here's our review of The Bunker We caught wind of The Bunker not that long ago but it definitely piqued our interest over here with the creep factor as well as the fun twist on the point-and-click genre of game. While Splendy Games isn't breaking new ground on using live actors for the visuals and gameplay, it is something that we don't usually get. Not only that but Wales Interactive helped take The Bunker out to a real world bunker to capture all of the performances and interactions to make sure it felt authentic. Read More...

Review â Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of September 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Deus Ex We sit down and review Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The franchise has had time to be "augmented" since the last addition. Here's our review of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided It's been five years since the last title came out and now we get to continue the whole story in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Of course it's not completely the same old story or Adam we've seen before or there would be no reason for us to pick up Eidos-Montreal's new title and Square Enix would be out a whole lot of money; so there is a lot to look at and enjoy. Thankfully, we had a chance to give Deus Ex: Mankind Divided a solid play and now we are here to give you our thoughts on it all. Here's our review of the next big addition to the franchise. Hitman We sit down and review Hitman — Bangkok. This is the fourth episode of Io Interactive's latest addition to the Hitman franchise. Here's our review on how they did. It's time for our next big trip with Hitman and this time it off to Bangkok for some murderous fun. Io Interactive has place two more marks on the map and we are off to make sure they never see the light of day again. All in a fun setting of a fancy hotel in the exotic lands here. Just like every other episode of Hitman we are given many options to go about it and here we go with how the Square Enix franchise has progressed. Read More...

Review â Marvel Ultimate Alliance [PS4]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 31st of August 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Marvel Ultimate Alliance We sit down and review Marvel Ultimate Alliance. It's been a decade since it first came out & has been remastered. Here's our review of Marvel Ultimate Alliance A long time ago we were all introduced to Marvel Ultimate Alliance on the PS2. A game at the time was one of the best that Raven Software had pumped out to us through Activision and thus started a decent partnership for Marvel titles to be done by this publisher. Now we jump forward about a decade and Marvel Ultimate Alliance has been remastered and made to work on the PS4 and Xbox One. We had a chance to check it out and see if the game holds up over the years or if it is something that you should hold out on. Read More...

Review â Layers Of Fear: Inheritance
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear We Sit Down And Review Layers Of Fear: Inheritance. We have a new bit of story DLC for a great horror game now. Here's Our Review Of Layers Of Fear: Inheritance Almost a year ago we were all introduced to a full version of Layers Of Fear and some of us regained a love for fear and horror. If not then, then when Bloober Team and Aspyr Media released the game on the PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year. It was fun and had some great jumps to it all but I know I was left wanting more. Fast forward those three years and Telltale Publishing brought the game to life on the PS4 and Xbox One for even more players to enjoy. Review â Ratchet & Clank [Blu-Ray]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank Ratchet & Clank has recently hit the small screens of home with new content. We had a chance to sit down and break the film down piece by piece. Here is our review of Ratchet & Clank Maybe you remember back when Ratchet & Clank first came out and that there was a feature film that was slated to launch with it. It did launch in theaters shortly after the video game's launch and Insomniac Games had its IP all over the place for a short time. As films always do, Ratchet & Clank left the big screen and we were left with only the video game to keep us coming. Read More...

Review â Minecraft: Story Mode â Access Denied
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — Access Denied. This is the seventh episode of Telltale's take on Mojang's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It looks like we are heading toward the end of Minecraft: Story Mode's expansion season as now we have the seventh episode of the game out now. Telltale Games has been doing their best with the franchise and giving us an entertaining story based on the blocky world of Mojang. We've been covering all of the episodes so far for Minecraft: Story Mode with some hits and some misses and now is the time for us to go through the most recent one. Read More...

Review â Batman: The Telltale Series â Realm Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Batman We sit down and review Batman: The Telltale Series — Realm Of Shadows. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on the Batman franchise. Here's our review on how they did It seemed like a weird time to bring out Batman: The Telltale Series given all of the other titles fighting for the limelight back when the game was first announced. But given that Telltale Games has had a pretty solid record on their storytelling titles to date I know myself and many other tried to ignore all of the other Batman going on to give this version of the franchise a fair shake. Well the first episode of the game has been released and we have been able to play it. Read More...

Review â ADR1FT
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
ADR1FT We sit down and review ADR1FT. A new exploratory title that shows us some great fears of space. Here's our review of ADR1FT When I first saw ADR1FT I was under the impression it was just another serene space adventure that was a "paint by numbers" kind of design. Then as Three One Zero kept giving us more and more to look at the game evolved and looked like it was becoming truly unique all its own. Now that 505 Games has released the game we have had a chance to play and review ADR1FT in all of its forms outside of just watching nice little trailers. Here's our full review and thoughts on just how the game played and felt along the way. Read More...

Review â Dead Island Remaster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Dead Island We sit down and review Dead Island Remaster. The old title has been revamped up for the new systems with all the bells and whistles. Here's our review of Dead Island Remaster It's been almost five years since Dead Island first came out on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. In my opinion this is what started Techland off on the road to making some amazing zombie games and now it has been remastered and bundled together by Deep Silver for the PS4, and Xbox One. All of the usual remastered items being added into the mix here for Dead Island to keep us all playing it further and possibly stepping away from the other titles we have out there currently. Thankfully we had the chance to give this remaster a whirl and here is our review of the Dead Island remaster. Read More...

Review â The Technomancer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
The Technomancer We sit down and review The Technomancer. It's the developer's next foray into the RPG realm with a cyberpunk feel. Here's our review of The Technomancer Here we go with another lesser known RPG game set in a weird future in terms of The Technomancer. This would be the latest RPG title that Spiders has put out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and so far it has been getting mixed reviews. Thankfully Focus Home Interactive gave us the chance to check out The Technomancer and give it a solid play-though. We put the game through its paces and now is the time to let you all know if you should add this game to your play list, back log, or steer clear list. Read More...

Review â Mighty No. 9
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Mighty No. 9 We sit down and review Mighty No. 9. Some say it is a Mega Man rip-off and others just another Kickstarter title. Here's our review of Mighty No. 9 If there has been a game in recent history that has had one rocky development cycle it seems it would be Mighty No. 9. It was backed and funded with the quickness when comcept original brought the idea to market as many saw it to be the Mega Man title they have been waiting for. Then Deep Silver hopped in and made sure that development on Mighty No. 9 would be certain to make it to the end. Read More...

Hitman's World Of Assassination Expands For The Summer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman Two new mini-episodes for Hitman have been added into the mix to expand the world of Hitman just a bit more for the summer It was certainly looking like we were going to be getting a new episode of Hitman each month since its launch as we have since. Sadly, it looks like Io Interactive has fallen a bit behind on that schedule or that was just the assumption we all had since we saw a new one by the end of each month until now. Whatever the case may be, it looks like we are getting a few new bits of gameplay as well as some new missions in Hitman for this Summer. There is no word out of Square Enix if this will be what we get for the summer and nothing else but it looks like there is a bit more of the game to be played on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC as of right now. Review â Minecraft: Story Mode â A Portal To Mystery
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of July 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — A Portal To Mystery. This is the sixth episode of Telltale's take on Mojang's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did The story continues for Minecraft: Story Mode as we have the first episode in the expanded adventure and the sixth episode in the epic tale of Jesse and his crew as they do what is apparently done in Mojang's world. If you are somehow still behind the times though this also expands on the story that Telltale Games has been building up for us over pretty much a year now. I'm still confused as to why they didn't go a solid second season and just have all of this is part of it but they didn't Now let us dig into this new episode of Minecraft: Story Mode before we get bogged down with even more of their great stories and such.
