Outlast fans will be glad to know that they can relive some of the horrors soon when The Outlast Trials enters into a closed beta

Those that are brave enough out there will definitely be glad the hear some news on when we will get to experience what The Outlast Trials has to offer up to us. Things have felt a little sparse out there for news and updates when it comes to the game, and we all are still waiting for a final release date for the PC, but out of Gamescom this year, we did get a good little update. As it turns out, Red Barrels is getting it all ready for some out there to enjoy with The Outlast Trials going into a closed beta phase to let some players in and test things out. Given how we will have to fight to survive, this will be something that needs to be perfected when the game is set to launch.

Those looking to sign up for the beta test for The Outlast Trials, can head over to the game's website and do that right now. It will be a short run with the test starting on October 28th and running through Halloween to November 1st. Just the perfect time for some out there to be able to dive into what the game has to offer up. If you are not sure if you have the intestinal fortitude for The Outlast Trials, you can have a look at the latest bit of gameplay we have that shows off how some of these trials will play out. There is a whole lot of gore and horrible imagery, so be warned, but it looks like they are getting back to what made the IP great with the survival horror side of things.

Have you been waiting for The Outlast Trials to finally hit or will you be doing everything you can to get in on these beta trials? How dark will the content of the game go and will it get dangerously close to that of Manhunt and get banned? How do you think all of this will expand the world the games are set in or will it just be its own little thing with the basic elements of the gameplay loop mixed in? Let the world out there know what you are thinking about this and then feel free to discuss it all in the comments. We will have more for The Outlast Trials, certainly, so be sure to keep checking in on the site for all of that and much more.
