Terminator
The Terminator IP is coming back and finally giving us a true survival game set in the Terminator timeline
After so many other games in the Terminator IP out there, we are finally getting a true survival game in the mix out there. This also felt like the IP that would have done well in this setting and it is odd that it has taken so long to actually get one in the works out there. This one being another from NACON and will be coming to the PC, and consoles (most likely PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) after all of the FPS and other versions of the Terminator have been brought forth before now. It is odd that it has taken so long to finally get us back into the terror that the IP original had for us when the film was first released. It was mostly a survival film in the first place after all.
There is not much else to dig in on this new Terminator title we are going to get beyond that, so we can try to speculate a bit more than anything. The following teaser we have for this reveal does show one of the base T-800 models stalking whom we can presume is our character in the game. So this does hint that it could all be taking place in the future while humans are on the verge of extermination out there. This could be to lead to some of the other basic mechanics we know for survival games with scavenging and crafting too. That would be my guess, but it could be that if they were looking to give us a modern-day title in the Terminator line, it could feel more like a horror title not knowing where the machine was hiding in plain sight.
Terminator Survival Project — Reveal
Just a tease for the future, but if you couldn’t tell, we’re big fans of 80’s movies, and our team at NACON Studio Milan is working on the first survival game set in the Terminator universe.
We can’t say much more for now, but this is definitely something to keep your eyes on.
Coming to PC & Consoles in the distant future.

Do you think the setting is going to lean more into the basic survival game mechanics or is it to keep the horror elements on the softer side? Do you think we will see any of the time travel added in too or will it all be focused on the future aspect only? Give us all of your thoughts on this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you wish. More for this Terminator title is going to be on the way to us, so be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and much, much more.
