We have the official announcement for Layers Of Fears here with Layers Of Fears taking the whole IP to some new levels of horror next year
Last year, we had a new tease for something that Bloober Team was working on that was coming to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It looked like it was going to be another version of Layers Of Fear with the slight tease we did get for it. Now, after the big game shows we have been getting here, we can say without any concern that this was close to the truth. The official announcement for Layers Of Fears is here and it looks like it is going to try to take the whole IP in some fun and darker territories along the way. Even if the name of it all could use a bit of a punch-up to make sure no one gets confused on which version of the game we are talking about here.
No matter the case, Layers Of Fears is on the way and building upon what the team has learned and perfected over the last few titles they put out there. They are moving into the Unreal Engine 5 to give us all more of a visceral feel when it comes to the visuals, which is something that these titles always felt like they did the best. Since we are getting a new story in the line with all of the same imagery out there, that will be nice. Even when you see in the following trailer that parts of Layers Of Fears will take us back to locations from the past titles too. Have a look and see if you are going to be brave enough to give this all a go when it launches in 2023.

Layers Of Fears is a first-person psychedelic horror chronicle focused on tense exploration and immersive storytelling — a new game built upon the foundations of Layers Of Fear, LOF: Inheritance, and Layers Of Fear 2 with a surprising new story and gameplay direction.
Created with the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5 technology, the game will support Ray Tracing, HDR effect, 4K resolution, and make use of the Lumen system to offer the most immersive and visceral horror experience.
Layers Of Fears will be the complete, definitive and at the same time unpredictable way to discover the stories of artists enslaved by their obsessions. Prepare for an exquisite horror experience thanks to the expanded plot lines that will cast a new light on the overarching narrative.
