Dying Lighth2>
Dying Light fans will soon have another reason to keep playing Dying Light 2 with the upcoming New Game+ Mode
You have all been asking for it, and now it is on the way with Dying Light 2 getting its New Game+ mode. We still have to wait a few days for the 1.3 patch to hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but it is coming and Techland is giving us something we have been hoping for. Something that will make good use of replaying Dying Light 2 once more to see how things play out. Not only that, but a way to truly upgrade Aiden to the full potential since it is not possible in the current form of the game. We can get close to maxing out, but there are still a few options left open that completionist will always want to fill in.
Obviously, the New Game+ for Dying Light 2 is unlocked after you complete the core game and it will allow you to play through keeping all of your progression to that point. Not only will this mode allow you to go through and make different choices along the way, but there will be 30 new inhibitors in the mix of the world and new challenges to go through along the way. A Platinum Medal will be there for all of those looking to do the Parkour challenges again and then there will be some new infected in the mix for us to survive too. It is starting to make a little more sense on why we needed to wait for this to hit Dying Light 2, and does sound like it will keep us all running just a bit longer.
Dying Light 2 — Dying 2 Know More - At The Fish Eye - Let’s Talk About New Game+
This time Nikolas and Julia will reveal more about the upcoming update 1.3.0 and its new feature — New Game+! Join us to hear more about what is coming to Dying Light 2 in the next 2 days!
In New Game+ players will keep the character progression of their initial adventure while enjoying many new rewards exclusive to the mood. Find 30 new inhibitors, well-hidden and testing every ability, to maximize Aiden’s health and stamina. Enemies now scale their challenge to Aiden’s level, but for those seeking more a challenging skirmish, Techland has prepared encounters with golden marks. Those special battles will sorely test even the bravest Pilgrims out with unique enemies and unexpected behavior. And for the ultimate challenge, find the quest “Something Big Has Been Here.” New infected with new attacks await!
Many of these new encounters will reward players with greater “Legendary” weapon rarity and valuable items. But for those who prefer to collect titles over the prizes, Techland added a new platinum medal for parkour challenges, with goal times based on the community’s best results!
A host of co-op-related bugs have been patched, alongside a few death loops. And for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players, a new FOV slider feature allows perspective-changing in-game.
Have you been waiting for New Game+ to hit Dying Light 2 or were you satisfied with your single play already? Do you think you will want to go back and experience the new challenges in the mix or will you look to just see how the story flows by making different choices? What other infected do you think we are going to see out there and will they be more than modified versions of what have already? Sound off in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If we have more for Dying Light 2, know it will be shared with you and the world. All you need to do is keep checking back for all of that and much, much more.
