Saints Row
Have a look at the level of customization we will have in Saints Row so we can make sure that this Saints Row will truly stand apart
Character customization is definitely nothing new to the Saints Row IP, but in the upcoming title heading to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, it does look like things are getting drastically amped up. Not just in more options to dress our character here, but with many different options coming from Volition with us being able to modify our Boss, but also the vehicles, weapons, and crew as we continue through Saints Row's story. Not to mention that we will also have the chance to modify things down the middle to have a form of split design if we so choose. I can already see those half-male and half-female designs coming when this game launches on August 23rd, 2022.
As I mention, you will be able to modify things like your vehicles in Saints Row with mostly new paint and basic designs as we see in the following video. The interesting part does seem to creep in when we can fully alter the models of the weapons in the game. This does make it all look like they will be very specific options to go with and not that we can have a full sniper rifle that looks like a slingshot, but the options are still in there. Can you imagine seeing a whole crew in Saints Row running around with stuffed pigs that fire off high-powered rounds? I know I can. Have a look at the top of the iceberg of options we will have when the game does finally launch out there.
Saints Row — Like A Boss: Ultimate Customization
We know you’ve been waiting for this very moment — here it is, it’s customization time, baby! We have been dying to show all the details on how you can Be Your Own Boss as you rise to power with the Saints, using our most powerful customization suite yet!
Including:
- Boss Customization — Yep, body, face, hair, clothes, everything you need to create whoever or whatever you want. Be your own Boss. Make them yours.
- Vehicle Customization — Gearheads will love how in-depth you can go with vehicle customization, and it’s not just aesthetics – we’ve got upgrades, signature abilities, and even engine sound are all a part of the mix!
- Weapon Customization — Yes, you can switch up the looks of your hardware too, change the color, pattern, decal, material or just make your favorite loadout look like something else entirely.
- HQ & City — That run-down church is yours to decorate as you see fit. As you get more powerful, your HQ sees its own glow up, but it’s up to you to add your own finishing touches to make it truly yours. As you grow into the criminal badass you were meant to be, the city changes too – by building your criminal ventures wherever you like, you’ll literally change that Santo Ileso skyline.
- Saints & Friends — Yes you can modify how your Saints recruits appear, as well as your friends with a variety of unlockable outfits. You gotta make sure everyone stays on brand, right?
Is this all something we should have assumed was coming to Saints Row or is it something of a shock to the level we can go? Do you think that the church designs will truly build into the crew or will we have to design a full uniform for all of our underlings? Do you think the weapons will offer up more than the traditional model swaps or can we go completely crazy and throw everyone off with a flame-throwing crowbar? Tell us what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. More for Saints Row is on the way, so be sure to keep an eye out for that and keep checking in on the site for much more.
